As an international student, I arrived in September without a job during a period of low hiring. After struggling for two months to find work, a friend recommended that I join a task force for assistance. Through this, I was able to secure a job at Maple Leaf which helped me cover my rent and some school fees. I am grateful to Kyle, who has been understanding of my circumstances and approved my requests for time off when I was sick or had exams.
