Real Canadian Superstore Sargent Avenue

I have rarely been so disappointed with Superstore. With only 4 tills open, and each one having 9 to 12 people in line waiting, I stood there with a cart full of groceries and my four and two-year-old daughters. I decided just to leave, however returned as my 4-year-old daughter was crying because we were not able to buy her nail polish that I had found.The gentleman at customer service was completely unsympathetic and said there was nothing that he could do. He simply handed me a slip and said to file a complaint with head office. His face was blank and expressionless. I told him politely that even though I understood it was not his fault he could still express some sympathy or compassion, neither of which he did.In these financial times with the increasing price of groceries, I shop at Superstore for the money that I can save".As a food producer myself (I am a beekeeper) I understand that everybody's costs are going up

Here I was able to buy a real Christmas tree, it has an incredible stunning smell, this Christmas tree sets the style of the room and gives a real Christmas in my house! Although I am against destroying trees, I think it's very bad, so next time I'll buy an artificial Christmas tree. I also bought a towel.

So I have to clarify that this is for the PC Express department, and the rest of this store might be fine? I moved to the city in November and have scheduled I think six grocery pickups since then and not one of them have gone correctly. Twice I’ve been charged for items I didn’t receive and was never given the refund I was offered when I noted it. Once, my groceries were sent home with someone else and I was left waiting for an hour (with my car running because it was -25) before I finally advised I’d be leaving and they could cancel my order. Several days later I still had not seen my refund so I called to ask if I could at least come pick up groceries I had paid for and the manager offered to email me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience (which I have yet to receive a month later). When I went to pick up that order, it was packed in a bin that I was not allowed to take with me so I just had to put about 20 items loose in my car? I’ve never had to wait less than 20 minutes to have my groceries brought out to me, which I have not experienced at any other Superstore location, nor at any of the other pickups I’ve done at other stores. If the rest of the service was excellent, I’d be completely okay with a longer wait than I’m used to - good service takes time and I accept that. But mistakes are being made on every pickup I’ve scheduled over the last few months so it certainly isn’t a one-off occurrence. I’ve tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt, I know mistakes happen, and it adds extra time for me to take my business to another location, but if I’m spending the extra time in waiting for my groceries or calling to report missing items I’m never refunded for, I’m going to take my business elsewhere from now on. I’m not sure if it’s training gaps, limited staff, management, etc but something is not working correctly if there are this many misses over this long a period of time.

If it wasn't for the other customers letting their kids run wild and think they are the only ones there it would be great. But getting a cart ran into you from someone not paying attention isn't fun.

Get all things groceries here at reasonable prices.

Not very easy to find anything, and no staff to be seen anywhere to ask questions, other than at the register. I spent a decent amount of time looking for the mangoes that were on sale, only to find they didn't have any and there was no spot for them. Thought I'd pick up a sandwich for a guy outside the store asking for food or money, and I was absolutely astonished to see how little is on a $6 sandwich. Two to three very thin slices of ham, and it didn't look like anything else was on there. They call that a gourmet" sandwich. Sure

In terms of produce, a good selection of organic fruits and veggies prices are reasonable when compared to a fully organic shop.Products are nicely arranged and overall clean and well maintained.If you are looking for regular household items such as kitchenware, cooking pots its not the cheapest but good selection.Clothing section also has a variety from lingerie to regular clothes for men and women. It may not be the latest fashion trends, but, if you want something decent it's a good bet.Overall I enjoy shopping here.

They have everything in their store and it's one of the best superstores of Winnipeg. The variety of product you get here is amazing and they have this club size for all the products which you can buy on discounts. They have products from around the world at affordable prices. The bus stop is also nearby so you don't have to worry about carrying your things. And last but not the least they have lot of indian products as well so head over and enjoy shopping.
