Fiddleheads Bar and Grill
This is one of my favourite places to eat in Perth. Not only does it have a cosy pub feel, I have found the food to be quite good and the service excellent. The location is also great, as it's across from Stewart park, while also attached to an indoor courtyard that is very pretty.Note: During my latest visit my daughter ordered a hamburger with fries and lemonade, while I got nachos to share and a beer. With tax and 20% tip the bill came to $59.

Location is convenient. Portions are nice. Staff is… not super helpful. They don’t really suggest or explain things on the menu, you kind of have to drag it out of them. But it was very clean and cozy. Food is tasty but stick to the classics. The steak quesadillas is nasty. Caesar salad was not great either. Poutine could definitely use more gravy. Chicken strips were really good and the fries are delish. Their drinks are nice as well. Exits to a cute stone area with some more shops which is cool.

Came here for a drink and apps. Great view and server was very friendly.We both got soups, beef and barley and cheddar jalapeño, which were pretty good but nothing special. They both came with homemade bread that was very delicious. Shared some pirogies which were decent but i’ve had better. They were a different texture and size than usual. The onion bacon jam that came with them was amazing though.

We went there for lunch today. Some of us had nachos. They were fine. However others had chicken wings The chicken wings were so small for the price they paid. Very disappointing. We won’t be going back

Stopped by with my family for casual dinner, service was very fast. Food was good. If weather would be warmer the view would have been spectacular. Place has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, if you are in Perth recommend to try it out.

Ok 2 stars cause he finally sat down with me and 1 star for the cold beer and a high five for getting to know me. On my next visit however, I will order a fries and a cold beer. The chairs are not high enough to eat at the bar. Wings were tasty but cold. (Thank the Owner for his Military service), he is a Veteran. I just have to say, don't tell him his food is cold, I tried and he told me to leave and never come back. We made up later and now I can return but....I just don't know if I want to......I mean I thought I was helping them by telling them I was unhappy but I guess not. Oh, I was treated so badly that I was crying when I left and afraid to ever return or say anything. You should never feel unwelcome at any restaurant no matter what and if everything is unsatisfactory to you, the only thing that should be said is my apologies and what can I do to make your stay better. I only complained when no one would talk to me or even come to my table, my food was cold and I was being told that I was making a scene when in fact it was the staff making a scene standing there talking to me. I will probably return soon for a cold beer and hot French fries and maybe a burger, everyone deserves a second chance. And anyway, small portions here and the prices are way to high here for me.

Tried alot of dishes. The service was amazing. The drinks were really good. The place is located at such a beautiful corner. It's a very lively place. The burger was not upto the expectations. Nachos were good, we loved the wings. The vegan burger was good.

Heard good things about the wings and decided to give them a try.First negative (albeit minor): the menu found online is not the same as in-house.The wings did not disappoint (delicious and substantial) but the poutine missed the mark for us. The menu said smoked cheese but they used regular curds (not a big deal at all but just not as advertised), the fries were undercooked and the gravy was watery. Also, it wasn’t served hot enough as the cheese never melted. If they are going to use dishes like this, they probably should heat them but that’s just a suggestion. Also had the chicken BLT. Salad dressing was just basic oil but the sandwich was awesome! They obviously used quality ingredients so it’s mostly the execution on this day that lost them the point.
