Long Lake
Nice little lake. Good for busting. Only 4 stars as it’s next to high way. You can hear and see cars passing by.Regardless, we enjoyed our visit very much!

Tried fishing off dock, too weedy. Didn't help with higher water temps. Looks like a good place to take the kids swimming.

Beautiful lake within the city limits, which someone had the foresight to preserve.This is a large enough lake for power boats, however it is maintained as a location for self-powered and wind powered watercraft as well.Housing is present around most of the lake, however there is a short public trail on the south side of the lake, from Loudon Park.The walk is quite easy and you get some great views of the lake.

Lots of fun. Pretty neat having a nice lake with sandy beach right in the middle of town. Parking is a challenge. You may have to park a few blocks away and walk.

Great little swimming spot with lots of shady and sunny spots to set up a blanket. Clean, warm water too! Not too crowded.

Beautiful lake just beside the road, super accessible! There are a couple of platforms, great for swimming! Washroom nearby.

Nice lake, gets quite busy in the summer. Popular spot for families. Fishing can be difficult due to weeds around the docks. It's a beautiful place to watch the sun set though.

Long Lake is a superb place to take the family. A lovely playground, ample shady park space, and a nice sandy beach. There is usually a gentle breeze, which can be nice on a hot day. Go for a swim, bring out the paddle board, or just relax in the sun.

Walked the west side today. I love this lake. Nice fishing, they stock it with rainbow, I believe. Fun for SUP and kayak
