La Petite Boulangerie is one of my few preferred bakeries in Montreal and surroundings. Their bread is great, indeed, but I do also go there for their superb cheeses and pastries.

Tiny place but a lot of choices, they even have cheeses from the Madeleine Islands. Great choices of breads. They also have preapared foods which are really good (NON VEGAN). Very polite and knowledgeable staff. Fast service.

For a lunch place, its really great. It's run by a cute asian couple. They are very eager to please and give great service. Theyre always smiling.The food is also good. I worked next to China Town for almost 2 years and this is the only place I have found that can give me the same type of lunch experience. Price is a little bit higher than China town but that is to be expected (you can have lunch for about 10-13$ a person). I personally suggest the cripsy noodles with vegetables and chicken (comes with a soup).

Excellent croissant for the price. Much better than some overpriced french bakeries on Fleury, that serves stale products (ie : Gourmet Privilège)

Purchased a baguette and almond croissants today, the baguette was good but the almond croissants were a major disappointment. There was no filling and had no almond flavour. I was really looking forward to eating these and was really bummed out that they weren't good
