Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting

We have a small summer camp business that required some restoration of 2 large sprinter vans and 2 matching trailers (all used vehicles to begin with) done in a way that brought them back to NEW ensured they were safe and ready for the camp season. Cleve Isenor has been our go-to at Maaco Dartmouth since we started on this venture and has given us the best of advice on how to do this type of work sensibly and affordably. He made this project into right sized adventure ensuring top quality work from prep, to paint, to logos, new rims, window seals. I'd only consider taking this venture further, and possibly bringing a small school bus into our fleet (one day) - - because guys like Cleve make it possible. You won't find better than this.

Took my car in for a fender smashed up. The team there was so professional !! Cleve was exceptional throughout. Was worried about the Tri Coat paint....but WOW they nailed it !!!Would recommend them for sure !!!!

I had my whole car painted. I could not count how many times my car had to go back to maaco.My front end paint had cracked multiple times and had to fix it as the paint probably wasn’t stripped which I paid extra for. I went back for them to check out more issues when they had washed my car and created deep swirls on my new paint. My Front end of the car is still cracked again and my entire car is swirled to this date.The car was returned to me covered in swirl marks after they had washed the car in order to look at the defects. After maaco tried fixing the swirls it came back even worse and was all patchy, like 10 patches per pannel!!! (which they should have polished the whole body panel and blend to the next panel.) Almost as it was intentional. They polished it again to fix the patches and the entire car still has swirls and my fenders are still cracked.it is very frustrating paying lots of money to paint a car and it be returned in that condition. I have emailed and called them for months and still have not talked to anyone but the receptionist.I had a bad experience with Wade who was helping me.Saying things as “wow you must have the only car in the city with no swirls” well it was new paint!“Come in tomorrow and show us how to wash a car” I could not believe how they speak to customers.“I’m sick and tiered of looking and working on your car”Overall was a bad experience and I haven’t even mentioned everything wrong and I would not recommend!Pictures below are the swirls they created and how they tried fixing it I was speechless.

Exceptional customer service. They really went above and beyond! They were able to take out two dents and make her look shiny and brand new again! I won't hesitate to bring her back if need be, but I really hope I don't need to visit again! Lol take your car here, they'll take excellent care of you and your vehicle!

Had some significant scratches on my door and brought my car to Maaco where Carl helped me out. Super guy! I was expecting a large cost, and that the entire door would need to be repainted. Carl offered to get me in the next business day to try buffing it out without repainting. For a nominal charge, Carl and his team made my car look like new in less than an hour. I can't even see where the damage was. I have already recommended Maaco to my father, and would recommend to anybody needing car work. Terrific business. Thank you!

Their slogan should be UhOh I Got It Done At Maaco. Had an older car painted at Maaco a long time ago and they blew the budget on one area because the estimator did a poor job and the company practice is based on how much materials are used. Better off having the work done at a professional establishment unless you have a junker and then again why bother.

I highly recommend this auto repair shop. Carl was very professional and friendly. I took the car in and they had the repairs done the day after. Price was also reasonable. I will definitely bring my car here next time it needs repair.

I don’t often bother to leave reviews but I need to leave one for Maaco in Dartmouth. I scraped the driver’s side of my car on a pole and did considerable damage. I had estimates done at two local places before going to Maaco. Maaco’s estimate was about $800 less than the most expensive shop (which couldn’t get me in to do the repair until late March), and $500 less than the other shop. Carl was awesome to deal with and he booked me in for about a week after my estimate. The work looks excellent and I’m so grateful for the reasonable pricing!!

I needed to get my rear bumper replaced and the folks at Maaco did an amazing job getting me a quote quickly, and fitting me into their schedule as soon as possible. They had to order another part at the last minute, but still managed to fix my vehicle incredibly quickly. Hopefully I will not need any more autobody work done on my vehicle, but if I do, I will definitely be a returning customer!
