This summer we invested a lot of money into our backyard. While we had many different trades do work we can say without hesitation that JD Carpentry was our favourite. Their work is impeccable, they stand by their product and they will work with you to get exactly what you want. Our fence looks great, is built way beyond code and will surely last for many years longer than comparable products. You will not be disappointed in any of the work JD Carpentry provides. They will be the first people we call when it comes to any more work we have around the house!

For years, I had wanted to renovate my shower in my Old South heritage home but was always hesitant to start it because I didn't know a Contractor who gave me the confidence to do the job right.Enter Justin.After he fully delivered on my dream garage conversion project, I asked, and he accepted to take on the shower renovation. I am so happy with the finished product and I have Justin to thank for that.He deconstructed the whole of the shower area to the studs and then rebuilt the shower foundations to today's standards to prepare for the tiling and plumbing and door installation, which we agreed to subcontract. I did have a few issues with a sub but Justin stood behind the whole of the project, accepting full responsibility for their work too, ensuring that the shower was completed to my satisfaction.And it has been! It's beautiful and is exactly as I envisioned the shower to be but I have that extra satisfaction of knowing that all of the work was correctly executed and finished.I have the highest respect for Justin and absolutely recommend him.

Justin installed a set of transition stairs from the house to the garage floor for my mom who has mobility issues The original stair height was a bit treacherous for her to navigate, but the new stairs have her endorsement. No knee, hip, or back pain, and she went up and down them twice in fairly rapid succession, which is quite the endeavor for her. They are solid, they are safe, she is thrilled and I'm thrilled that she is thrilled. Justin is skilled, personable, professional, and cleaned up when he was done. Definitely recommend.

JD Carpentry was incredible! He took a 100 year old floor that was beyond maintenance and made it beautiful, something that works for our family. JD took the time to make sure the job was done properly and ensured that we got more than what we imagined.Being first time home owners in a century home, we weren't sure what options were available, but JD suggested the best solution. He approached the project step by step and took us through each process so we were comfortable with what was happening. We had Justin put cedar planks over the existing walls in our tiny walk-in closet, adjust the rails to be more accessible and replace the old door. Justin listened carefully to our request and informed us of the details involved and we agreed. He was pleasant, courteous, prompt and finished the job in good time.We had difficulty adjusting to a slightly smaller closet but after purging clothes not worn for years, we love the closet. Professional. Trustworthy. High quality work completed on schedule. Great attention to detail and pride in the finished product.Justin completed an extensive job removing and replacing our damaged kitchen ceiling and insullation, new lights installed and all walls painted. He was able to quickly arrange for an electrician to handle damage he came across in wiring. We were kept informed on a daily basis as we couldnt be on site, sending video updates of the work completed and any hurtles to overcome. He didn't hesitate to accommodate an extra request to remove old flooring and install new, even helped pick out flooring and the paint colours for the walls. When the job was finished the work area was clean and all furnishings back in place. Very happy, looks wonderful, did a great job. We will definitely call on Justin again for any future projects.
