In our search for a new home on Whidbey Island, we have had the opportunity to have 2 houses inspected by JD Saint Clair of WIN. The first house appeared to be everything we wanted but could not have been structurally less sound. JD showed us the flaws and problems in this house while clearly explaining the potential costs and impacts and while showing real respect for why we might have chosen this house to begin with. It was clear that he was concerned about breaking our dreams about this house but knew that his job was to inform us and protect us from a foolish decision.On the second house, the house we are now buying JD spent hours carefully going over the house inside and out, showing us the strengths and the few areas that would need attention. His explanations about the systems and structures he was evaluating were clear and easy to understand as was the final report which was full of helpful photos and delivered the same day.The overall experience of having our house inspected by JD was not only informative but a total pleasure. He is such a knowledgeable and wonderful person.
