Ontario Racquet Club

This club is keeping us from moving away from the neighbourhood. Excellent spot for tennis, squash and all round gym and club. If you are an adult looking just to go on the machines - go somewhere else. If you want to do racquet sports, swim, be social and grab a drink with your buddies afterwards, or be active with your kids in a club atmosphere - there literally is no other place. The staff is also amazing. Thank goodness they survived through COVID!

Great club, staff are amazing. Lots of different classes are available, everything from yoga or aquatics and even line dancing. So glad I joined. I've made lots of good friends. Great place for seniors. Chef is fantastic, best food in the area.

I went there as a guest and I was impressed! Beautiful club with fabulous pool, multiple squash courts and clean change rooms. So much better than Goodlife! I would totally join ORC if I lived in the area.

We joined the ORC in July and the experience has been an excellent one thus far! All facilities and activities have been first rate; I've enjoyed playing tennis, my 5 year old daughter loves the pool and her swimming lessons. However, I must say there are two individuals who truly personify the excellence of the club - Kyle & Chloe. Both are extremely passionate about their jobs and truly care, always making sure the member is satisfied. The food is excellent and the overall dining experience is always a pleasurable one; this section of the club is a well oiled machine! A big shout out to chefs behind the scenes as well, thanks for all the great meals :)Kind Regards, Greg

So happy we joined. Respectfully family friendly, nice community feeling, very nice and clean. (Although they need more day lockers). Classes aren't packed, coaches are approachable and you don't feel sold". My favourite place to go."

Took my daughter to a squash tournament. The facility was well equipped. Lots of squash and tennis courts. Good experience overall.

I am contemplating membership here and reviewed some of the recent comments, particularly negative ones.regarding vaccine policies. If you don't agree with the policy, sign up for another gym - there is no need to disparage this club while they are doing their best to maintain the safety of their community.

Seems like every negative review has an explanation" from management. Interesting that they continued to charge for membership through COVID ... most clubs froze accounts and did NOT charge. Just curious what the monthly membership fees are as of October 2021 and whether folks recommend this club for racquet sports. Seems like the majority of negative reviews have come in the last 18 months ... not encouraging. My review is based on the fact that I could not get any information over the phone unless I came in which I really did not want to do until I know the membership fee is within my budget. Tough to commit to something without information. Even automobile dealers reveal prices for their products."

We love the ORC and have been members for almost 10 yrs. Throughout the pandemic they’ve sent multiple communications every week to outline all the ways they were providing alternative ways to work out with Zoom classes and the grocery programme through their restaurant with touch less pickup so we didn’t have to line up at grocery stores. We fully supported their decision to keep charging monthly fees in exchange for time owed once they could reopen. This is a forward thinking club with great staff. They’ve taken every reasonable precaution once allowed to re-open under provincial guidelines and the facilities are immaculately clean.
