I was seriously surprised by the selection, conditions, and prices of the retro games here. Alex and I had a good chat that I enjoyed and I got to leave with a few more additions to the collection at a good price. Looking forward to going back!

If you have financial challenges and need a loan, do not use this service.Initially when I put a ring on hold in return for a loan, I was told that if I could not pay the full amount after 30 days, I could come in and pay the initial $75.00 borrowing fee. At that time I would be given an additional 30 days and any additional amount paid would go towards the remaining principal.What they did not tell me initially or after, is that they would charge me a second borrowing fee of $63.75. When I returned to pick up my item after 60 days, I was surpised by the remaining balance as I had paid the initial fee and an additional amount to pay down the principal at the 30 day mark.When I asked if there was anything that could be done about this in terms of removing or at least reducing the second fee. The two men at the counter brought out the manager and seemed to get quite the enjoyment out of the managers equal unwillingness to be helpful in any capacity. I spoke politely and clearly while explaining the previous conversation to all parties and was more than reasonable in my request, nor did I take my frustration about the lack of clarity out on anyone else.They advised that I was paying a storage fee, not interest, for them to hold the item (again it was a ring) so by all accounts, the fee could have been removed, but they chose not to. Though, they did offer to extend the payment for another 30 days for -another- fee. How kind right?Lastly, when I asked to be shown my item prior to paying the final amount in full, I was told they wouldn't even go get my item until the payment cleared. Like I'm about to run out the door with it when all I wanted was a bit of help with the surprise charge.Think twice before taking a loan on any of your personal items. If you're in tight situation, you can count on this place to make it harder.

They seem cocky and more concerned about their looks than offering good service

Ive been using hock shop for years and pretty satisfied , forthcoming staff and more or less fair as far as pawn shops go .HOWEVER after coming into some financial trouble i approached them ,or my wife rather trying to get a loan or sell three rings one is appraised for over 1500 dollars with papers and two other rings , one of them being custom made white gold and sapphire , long story short they offered 410$ for all three saying under new management ...so basically the new management does not give fair prices and i highly recommend nobody wastes their time at this shop .I like the staff , they are good ol boys but taking into account the new policies and new management " i wouldnt waste my time" just drove here in a snow storm expecting to be treated fairly and was told nope new management cant give you a fair price for your items even though they were purchased from them ... ya

Efficient way to get the stuffs you can't get in other stores. The staffs were amazing and friendly. their prices are also reasonable. Excellent experience and fantastic service. I would recommend this shop.

Great place been going here for over 20 years to buy tools and other great stuff.Staff very friendly

First time customer and they offer me $15 to pawn a set of speakers, I paid over $100 for them, the one guy who served me cursed in front of a 4 year old, and I walked away saying your a rip off then he comes out making a scene saying... DON'T COME BACK! but yet he says that outside of the store instead of saying it inside. I truly recommend not to go here at all.

Had some time to burn so went in to check it out. Great selection of items for good prices, clean and well organized. Grabbed a game and chatted with the employees, both great guys.
