Walmart Supercentre

Shame on you Walmart I used to drive from Hinton to shop here no more, you had no tills open but one.. with a huge lineup! Only the stupid automatic checkout that makes you feel like a thief by the girls that can't even speak English working them!

This Walmart 'Super centre' is a mess. Technically since they didn't get planning permission for their expansion this is one of the smallest super centres around. This 'super centre' is ripe with all kinds of issues like: poor quality produce, exceptionally disgusting meat products that are grey in complexion, organizational issues and outdated product, poor COVID19 safety standards and tyrannical management. I feel sorry for the people that work there.I would recommend anywhere else because you'd get better product and service from a truckstop washroom than you would at this Walmart.

Friendly staff, clean, well stocked and cheap produce but I prefer shopping local when I can

Update.. at Walmart Sunday afternoon March 2023. Very busy and long lines. One to two manned tills open. Pathetic Walmart. Do better. We don't want your self checkouts!I have never been made to a feel like a criminal except the whole time I stood at the self checkout that is exactly what happened! So I had a chat with Walmart online and was given an email..that comes up with an error message. Walmart really make it impossible to put in a complaint! Bad enough I couldn't find an item ask for help the poor girl could not understand me or give me help in pawn me off onto somebody else who could not help me but..!!I have already put this all in the survey and I plan on speaking to the store manager tomorrow once I find out who that is. I do not feel like going through all the details again what what would be prefer a phone call. But at your Edson Alberta store number 1048. At approximately, 5:15 pm on May 17 and I surely hope you check the video.. I was treated as a thief and accused of stealing by employee Andrea at the self checkout . I do not feel like going through all the details at this point again I've already put them in the survey but I have never in my life been treated this way, not even pulled aside and ask if I forgot to put items on but accused in front of people of stealing! I will be contacting the store manager as I requested earlier today! I would appreciate a phone call back as I would like to give full details on this matter and my disgust. Picked up a few things recently and wanted to pay with cash...only one til open and the self checkouts only accept debit/credit cards, really? Checked out at customer service but that's a hassle because of limited counter space. Come on Walmart...do better...

I haven't had any issues here. Significantly cheaper to shop here than it is in Hinton making it worth the roughly 45 min drive.

This place just gets worse and worse. And the staff.. and I love being forced to use a stupid electronic checkouts, nope. I'll pass. So there are two checkers and everybody was being forced and pushed on the electric scanners, but nobody really wanted to use them. But hey keep raising those prices make sure those billionaires keep making their money taking away everybody else's jobs.

One entry blocked off due to construction but no signs. The store has more empty shelves that one's with product. Prices have increased but that doesn't matter since half of what you want is out of stock. Nastiest group of managers I have ever met. If you can go else were do it. This use to be one if the best Walmarts I had ever been in but since the last 2 new managers have been there it's gone down hill fast.

I have been to many Walmart locations—however this is the worst location for large families. I’m not sure if it’s Edson in general but the staff seems annoyed when they hear children cry or spaz. They have came to us every time. They would rather have toddlers do whatever they want and run around then hear a timed out toddler cry. At first I thought it was one time thing however three times now the staff at this location will treat you differently for applying time-out to your kids. The Hinton location is the best and not once had such an issue. Families be careful of some of these people.
