I signed with Film/Comm last summer and I have constantly been getting auditions. Melissa is serious about getting her talent out there and seen. She provides tools, as in places to get coaching or to take a workshop which is really helpful for new actors and those who are new to film and TV acting.

Complete professionalism and always working hard for her actors, Melissa strives to give her clients the best chance to be seen. I was able to hit the ground running and book my first two auditions and start to live the life I’ve always wanted. Filmcomm has been growing it's roster very quickly while I have been with them in a year span. Melissa is in tuned with the industry and knows what is going on. She is one of the hardest working agents that I know and the companies success is a result

This agency is great at getting jobs and I’d recommend it to anyone interested - you’ll love this agency so long as you do not have to work with Melissa Rock. Melissa is insanely unprofessional and extremely difficult to deal with. She refused to answers questions, she tends to extend more respect towards males and is very immature when dealing with females unfortunately. The final straw for us was after we submitted a tape through Actor’s Access and Melissa sent an email rudely accusing us of not submitting the audition by the deadline. I reached out to Actor’s Access to investigate what happened - Actor’s Access confirmed we DID submit our tape on-time however the issue was that Melissa didn’t submit our tape to casting. When I sent Melissa the screenshots from Actor’s Access confirming the tape was in fact submitted on-time and they could see I completed what was required of me, she became enraged and sent me back emails yelling in capitals and being insanely unprofessional and condescending. I presume her taking accountability for the mistake was too much for her to bare. We all make mistakes so I would’ve completely understood but Melissa acted like a child throwing a temper tantrum . I’d love to explore this agency again in the future but want no part of dealing with Melissa. I would strongly recommend FilmComm look into the several complaints and feedback from people who have dealt with Melissa as there is truth to the numerous accusations about her unprofessional and “mean girl” like manner in dealing with talent. This company gives results which is amazing however Melissa makes them look absolutely terrible. To those who have had success, keep up the amazing work!!

I signed with Melissa Rock and her FilmComm team only two and a half months ago. I really didn’t know what to expect being new to the industry, but I wanted to give them a shot. All I can say is, the moment we signed, Melissa started sending me out for auditions. I know it’s not easy to send a newbie like me out, but she worked hard to get me out there and I will say I got SO MANY auditions I lost count! Since then I’ve already booked 4 commercials and a TV series on Crave. It all happened so fast as I quickly learn Melissa cares and takes this seriously.She and her team are so reliable and efficient. I can appreciate her no-nonsense approach in this business as it’s a very competitive business. And this is a business relationship, like any business relationship, you want a reliable, effective, honest partner. It’s team work! She gets me in the door, and it is my job to close the deal. She works hard for me, I do the same. If this is something that resonates with you, then she and her team can be the right partners (agent) for you.
