Countryside Camp (Camp Shalom)

Life changing experience!!! Camp Shalom is an excellent place to worship God and be around other Christians. I learned many things about God and the Gospel that I might not have learned elsewhere. Another thing I experienced was a new urgency and craving for God's word. I absolutely love this place and I totally recommend for anyone to attend!

This camp has been amazing. I have been going to this camp since the munchies and have gone every year since and this summer I completed the DISC program. Every year I have a blast (the easiest rule to follow) and get closer to God. With the DISC program in particular, I can confirm that it was a life changing experience that I hope to remember forever. Thank you Camp Shalom for so many great memories. This camp is truly a 10/10.

This is a FABULOUS summer camp! Beautiful location, amazing staff, wonderful activities. My daughter attended 1 special needs week last year and loved it so much that she attended 3 special needs weeks this year. I am beyond pleased with her experiences at Countryside Camp Shalom. An absolutely fantastic special needs camp. LOVE that they post pictures on their facebook page during the week so you can see how much fun your child is having.

Was a camper there in the mid 90's. Before my first visit (of 2) I fought tooth and nail not to go. Eventually a councillor named Uncle Aaron made me a promise that changed my life. He promised that if I would give it a try, he would spot" me on the trampoline for 15-20 mins. It was the best deal I've ever made as the next 2 weeks are some of the most memorable of my childhood. Thank you camp shalom and especially Aaron."

I've spent many summers at Camp Shalom as a camper and counsellor. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for conferences/retreats during the winter or the summer camp programs in the summertime.The camp counsellors are professional, fun and energetic. The ratio of campers or guests to counsellors allows for an incredible experience while making sure your children are supervised and mentored. I found that Camp Shalom did an amazing job at providing practical tools for life outside of camp too!Try it out! :)

An absolutely life-changing place. I went to Camp Shalom for years as a camper and the experiences I had and friends I made there I still hold very dear today. I can't say enough good about this place!

For my 2 daughters, Camp Shalom has been the only camp that they beg to attend every single summer. Only a global pandemic could keep us away in 2020, but coming back this year with my daughters in Quest and Disc, they were back in their favorite place with friends and with time for deep personal reflection, and of course just plain old fun! It is a transformative place, and I am so happy that the direction was able to pull it off this second summer of the pandemic (2021). Well done!

Camp Shalom will always have a special place in my heart, grew up going every summer and worked there a number of summers too. Amazing place to learn about God, make friends and have good quality time. Beautiful area in every season, a quiet oasis in the busyness of life.

Best camp experience. The staff are amazing. They show the love of God to the kids everyday working tirelessly to make sure each and every child is included, loved and happy. The facilities are great as well, with so much to do and learn like archery, climbing and much more.

Each year I've been to Camp Shalom, I've seen the Holy Spirit just move. Our Ministry is growing strong in The Lord Jesus Christ. Camp Shalom is the best in the business and God is the one in control of it all. If you’re not sure of this camp, I can tell you it’s a great place and the staff are tremendously wonderful and friendly. You’re treated like family here. I’m having a great time here. Trust me , you totally got to come to this camp and get involved.
