Fantastic. Prompt. Courteous. Knowledgeable. Professional. These are adjectives I’m using to describe Ryan and his inspection job on our wood burning stove. He did add that sometimes people want to blame the messenger…. He doesn’t control the outcome, but he will ensure you are properly informed. After all… it’s fire safety not snow cone flavours. Contacted this company to ask about having a pellet stove and piping installed that I bought from a box store as their website says they do installs and was informed that they will not install anything that they do not sell, nothing on their website says anything about that the email that they sent was rude. Just because their website says that they are an installer don’t believe it because you will get the same rude response that I got if you are not willing to purchase from them directly

I was recommended this company through colleagues of mine at Island Health and I am very glad I used them! I have a house the is over a hundred years old so needed a good inspection of the current fireplace. Ryan was our technician who came over and he was incredibly helpful and thorough. I felt he gave me a very fair, honest and balanced inspection, never trying to sell me something but offering a very clear understanding of what our options were. I called Canadian Chimney and requested a chimney sweep be performed at my home. I am a new home-owner and have never owned a wood burning stove insert before. Ryan was prompt, friendly, and extremely professional. Although I was expecting a simple routine sweep, Ryan provides much more. He pointed out possible safety hazards and a problem with my insert not immediately noticeable to the untrained eye. He encourages lots of questions as well. I appreciated his emailed service summary (complete with photos). It is obvious to me that he is highly trained in his field; I was extremely happy with his service and will use him again.
