Great gem tucked right outside of the downtown core.Looks ok from the outside but upon entering the industrial feel was very inviting. We were attended to right away. Food came quickly and the suggestions for the Brussels sprouts and the fried shrimp + chicken appetizer were nice suggestions.Ordered the Bulgogi pizza and it was tasty and fresh. Everything was served nice and piping hot as they were supposed to.Drinks took a little longer to arrive than they should but the beer were good too.Desserts were decent.Great ambience, ample parking at rear, might be hard to find the restaurant for first timers. Food was great. Though I find it a bit on the expensive side. Well worth it for a special night out.

Great little place! Loved the food, drinks, decor, and the service was good. I was impressed by the cocktails and drink selection (I appreciated that the cocktails were actually good and the the rice wine/makgeolli on the menu). The food was delicious: we tried the cheese spring rolls, bulgogi pizza (the crust was perfectly crispy and not soggy), cauliflower, honey garlic butter chicken (perfectly fried and not greasy), and the soft serve ice cream. Only tiny thing I would've liked is a bit more sauce on the chicken and some Korean pickled radish to go with it!Edited to give it 5 stars lol. Tried a second time and it was even better. The twisted donuts were crazy good (soft, fluffy, and melty... like an elevated donut/churro) as well as the sweet corn + honey butter chips pizza (drenched in honey butter... so good).

We came here for their Valentine's Day special. Even though it was a 4 course dinner, the appetizer portions were on the smaller side so we ended up ordering an extra plate of Korean chicken. Food was very well made and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish, especially the short ribs! We will have to come back to try different things on their menu!

Love the fried chicken, especially the buldak flavor, and Brussels sprouts. The crispy tofu was flavorless. The food portions were small with the price you paid for. Overall, it’s just okay. Nothing special that make you want to come back again.

Delicious food and cute ambiance! We had the Korean fried chicken, short ribs, fries, and mango salad. All were very good. I had the mule to drink- it is tasty but definitely on the sweeter side. We came over the holidays and the decor was very charming. Would love to come back another time of the year!

Restaurant has a nice vibe to it. Food on the other hand is overrated. $16 for 4 pieces of Korean fried chicken (KFC) is a joke. Sure, the flavour is there but not for that price. You can get KFC at other restaurants for way better value. Pizza was alright, pretty interesting flavour selection but as you can tell in the photo, the pizza we received was pretty burnt. Not impressed. Overall, overhyped and overpriced.

I previously visited Jin Bar during the peak of COVID but was a little disappointed with the food and thought I’d give it another try.I visited a few days ago and ordered the Ahi Tuna Crudo and the Sweet Corn and Honey Butter Chip Pizza, and honestly the food was a little underwhelming.I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Crudo but thought it was a tad salty, the pizza was alright. It was nothing special and the seasoning was inconsistent throughout. I enjoyed that the chips on top stayed crunchy throughout and it was a nice touch. I don’t think I’ll be going out of my way to come back but if I’m ever in the area I would stop by!

Finally got a chance to visit this restaurant after my wife came with her friends. We came here for the Valentine's tasting menu and all the dishes were prepared and presented to perfection. The Angus Short Rib was so tasty we wanted more! Love the interior design as soon as we entered it felt very pleasant. Definitely should take extra time and make sure you have adequate time to find parking during peak hours if you were to visit this place.

First time recommended to come here by a friend, and wow was our group in for a huge surprise.This place is by far one of the greatest foods in Calgary to experience.The short ribs were so juicy and tender, it melts in your mouth. The deep fried chicken is very soft in the inside and has perfect crisp on the outside. The pizza is well presented and is packed with many flavors.JinBar exceeded my expectation and would definitely be coming back for more.
