I rented a water heater with this company 6 years ago. Making monthly payments. I sold my house and upon closing I was required to buy out the hot water tank at a cost of $5300 or I could not close. the average cost of an equivalent unit today is about $2500 installed. A complete scam these people should not be allowed to operate like this. Don't be fooled avoid at all cost!

This is a 0 star review. I have never signed or met their sales people. Previous homeowner took their offer, no disclosure to me the furnace was a rental. So they did not fix the furnace when it broke down the first year, and sent me a $19,000 invoice. Not my fault you can’t find the previous homeowners - leave me alone.

This company will never get any good reviews because they are borderline dishonest. Years ago we bought a Furnace , Air Conditioner and a Water Heater. At the time of the sale we were given a 10 year warranty for all units for parts and labour, which sounded great and we agreed .At the time of delivery I noticed that there was no mention of the 10 year warranty on the invoice and I made them write it on the bill and sign it.Now when I need a possible repair on my Water Heater the company and several of their employees , refuse to honour the warranty because it is handwritten and not on a separate paper with their letterhead.If you choose to do business with them, please make sure that you get your proper warranty documents before you hand them over your hard earned money. Or better stay away from this company , no matter how good the deal sounds you will pay for it at the end.

Can I rate it a -10?? I didn’t sign up for it. My dad did. And then he passed. I settled his estate and bought the equipment out so that I could sell the house. I have already paid out $26,000 yet they are saying I owe another $36,000. Despite several attempts to get answers out of them, they dodge all correspondence unless it’s to discuss how and when you’ll pay them. Con artists. Glad they lost the class action suit. Pls pls pls don’t sign on with them ever!

This is absolutely the worst, most dishonest, unethical and utterly by far the most disgusting company I have ever had to deal with! My mom signed a contract back in 2012 for the installation and rental of an AC unit and Furnace. Not only is the contract completely fraudulent and OVERPRICED! My mother passed away last year, my father is still living in the home (he is 86 years old by the way) I have explained over and over again not to call and bother my father. I don’t think anyone should be paying over 30 grand for an air conditioner or furnace so I have explained that due to the dishonesty of the contract my father will not be honouring it. They have repeatedly harassed my father with letters and phone calls. I understand business is business but OEG is just wrong and awful. PLEASE DO ONE SIGN ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE LIARS AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! They are unprofessional and completely unethical!STAY AWAY FROM ONTARIO ENERGY GROUP!!!!!!

Paid off my furnace in full and company still charging me. I don't recommend this company to anyone ever. State one thing on your contract and change it when ever they want to with no notice. Company takes money even after being paid totally off they don't care and can not give you a valid reason for them doing this. They were paid off in the beginning of the month and still charged me for the same month and told me they don't have to pay it back because it was not included in the buyout. Buyout paid to them was six hundred dollars more . Do not ever go with this company. EVER

I sold my house and attempted to close my account. However I continue to be billed to spite the multiple phone calls and attemps to close my accmount. All of my previous attempts to close my account seem to go undocumented.Absolutely ridiculous. Scam artist.

This is a 0 Star review. Absolutely horrible! DO NOT USE! They target seniors, until they have a lean on their house and your family ends up dealing with it. Their opperation is criminal, selling hvac equipment and accessories without CPA (Consumer Protection Agreements). An absolute low for the industry!

I don't recommend this service/company OEG" to anyone. I've been stuck with them for several years as they lied to me from the start and without realizing I am under contract. I called them to cancel but I have yet to receive a call back. I know they got sued and lost because of dishonest business practice. All I can do for now is warn you not to do business with them. Fair warning!Quick update Aug 2020-managed to get out the contract and lien on my house after paying almost 10K for both the furnace and water heater. I amno winner here."

I made a bad mistake. Don't let this pushy salesman talk you into this expensive mistake. Overcharged for air conditioner.
