North West Nuclear Med-Animals

I am about to bring my Charlie boy to this facility from Alberta in March to have him cured. I am beyond grateful for how fantastic the techs have been. Charlie is beyond special to my partner and I. I am struggling big time with having to leave him and I am hoping to be able to check in with them daily. He is special needs for attention and I am hoping he is showered with love. Please do everything for him as he is the light of my life. I can't wait to get him back home and he hasn't even departed yet. Fingers and toes are crossed. A big risk that I hope will pay off for his sake and ours.

The doctors and staff are knowledgeable and obviously care deeply for the cats. My cat loved them and managed to convince them to feed him a while bunch of his treats by being well behaved and cute.A cure for Hyperthyroidism is a wonderful piece of mind over the constant medication and monitoring blood work.

We are so thankful for North West and the radioactive iodine treatment. We have a 20 year old cat that was starting to go downhill with hyperthyroidism. It was becoming hard to give her the medicine twice a day so we decided to try this treatment. We were worried about leaving her there for so long after treatment, but overall she seemed to handle it well. The staff treated her very well and kept us constantly updated. It’s been over a month since treatment and she is doing great. She does not act or look 20 years old, she seems so much younger now. They also gave her this new drug for arthritis and she is moving around great I think it really helped. Thank you for helping our fur baby!

What an incredible group of veterinarians and vet techs. I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about this clinic. The knowledge, the care, the quick replies, reassurance and skill set is unparalleled. I have raved about this specialized hyperthyroid clinic on Facebook groups and social media. If your kitty is suffering from the deleterious effects of hyperthyroidism, then get a referral from your regular vet and start a conversation with them. They saved my kitty's life and I am forever grateful.

A stellar clinic. Normally getting any serious treatment with our cat is harrowing - for both us and her. Even though the treatment was for four days, she was happy and well adjusted afterwards - it was almost like she hadn't left home. Thanks for treating her and taking such great care of her!

The staff are exceptional and caring for all of the animals and their owners. The care and attention they take is remarkable. Leaving our loved one with them for a week was hard but we received daily phone calls with updates and pictures. Everyone is so wonderful, we would trust any of our cats with them no questions asked. To eliminate and cure hyperthyroidism and the need for daily medication is the best thing for the cats and their owners. This place is a sure gem, they are exceptional and will remain in our hearts forever after taking care of our boy, Tequila. I adopted my rescue cat Cali back in 2013, she has been the sweetest most loving cat.In 2019 she started losing a lot of weight, after a few trips to the vet (I live in Alberta) they recommended this company to treat her.I was a little skeptical at first but I love my cat and was told these people are the best. After talking on the phone with one of the staff I booked my cat Cali in to get treated in October. They were very helpful and professional and could tell they really knew what they were doing.So I drove to Vancouver (1,200 km) and they take Cali for the business week while I go back to Alberta. They called me every day to update me on how she was doing. Then I drove back to get her.Overall they were delightful to deal with and were very accommodating of my schedule and arranged for a time for me to pick her up.It is now almost 7 months later and my Cali is looking healthy again, when I had her checked at the vet about two months ago they said her thyroid levels were perfect.These guys are the best, in total I drove 4,400 km to get my cat treated, spent two nights in a hotel, and paid for the treatment and it was all worth it. If anyone is every wondering about using these guys, I absolutely recommend them.I have uploaded two pictures where you can see the before and after treatment, the before picture was on the drive to Vancouver.Thank you for helping my kitty!
