The Clansman Motel

Can’t say much about the motel part as I only came here to complete my North Sydney restaurant pilgrimage.They serve some good food! I like how they have a rotating menu for each season and a daily special, that really ensures that people can try something new each time they come to eat.The only thing I would change are the fries - they weren’t very salty, although I know that some people prefer that. Service was also very good! Would have dinner here again.

In the words of my friend who recommended this motel it's nothing fancy but it gets the job done." The person who accepted our same day reservation was very friendly and helpful. The person who checked us in was cognizant of some louder guests nearby and put us in a room well away from them. He also told us there were a few stairs in the front of that building and asked if that was a barrier for us. Even though stairs are not a barrier for either of us I was pleasantly surprised by the question and appreciative of his awareness. The reception desk is open 24 hours and we were able to check in late. The room was quiet and clean. The trees surrounding the property make for a nice atmosphere. For the price and proximity to the North Sydney ferry terminal I have no complaints."

This motel was amazing to stay at. The staff was friendly and polite. The restaurant had amazing food at reasonable prices. Will be back again.

Ordered spaghetti and meatballs, and they didn’t both to call us back to say that they didn’t have any. Than lied to our face saying that they tried to call us. We had no missed call.

Excellent service and food. There is a lovely walking trail loop in the woods nearby.

Trust me when we say this, this is THE spot. The restaurant is amazing. The property is clean and well maintained and the guest service staff are REAL PEOPLE that treat families with respect. If you have pets the cabins are a must. Don't look anywhere else if you have pets. 15 minutes to Sydney waterfront and less than that to the ferry.

Clean, basic accommodation in a park - like setting. Convenient location if you’re riding the ferry - close to shopping and services. Excellent food on site, good prices. Pool!

Cozy atmosphere, beautiful pool, very attentive and friendly staff, very well located, comfortable room.

Never stayed. We are local. But we were there for breakfast today. 6 of us. Usually it’s very good there but today was far from that. They were busy and I understand that but when your bill is $105 you at least would like a refill without asking and to pay $6.00 for a side of bacon and sausage and both were burnt. 4 of us got drinks right away and 2 of the kids had breakfast before their drinks. We order coffee and they brought tea then never got cream. Had to go get it from another table. I usually never say anything but today was the worst. They had a party booked with the Kelly room full and only had 2 servers for the whole place. It was after 11:00am and they only gave us breakfast menus. Not happy with the price I paid for this bad service. Kids never even got kid menus.

Just check in the outdoor pool was fabulous! So clean and nice chairs, tables and the like. We had dinner here in the hotel and the fish and chips were within the top 5 I have had (pic below) the fish had nice coat of batter and the home cut fries were delicious!Nice amount of lemon and good portions!I can't wait for breakfast!The ugly the rooms are very clean but the one I had was dated. I understand there doing renovations but this one needed help. The ac was loud but cooled the room quickly so then I turned it off when I went to sleep
