We went to the Coast for an anniversary dinner during the dine out Vancouver 2023 week. The place was not busy when we arrived at 6pm. Even without a reservation, we were able to get a seat right away. The server was very professional and attended to our needs.We tried the dine out menu, it was alright. It didn't give me a wow

I had an amazing time checking out coast new menu item. They have this huge Paella and I couldn't believe how perfectly cooked it was. They have have great sushi and this seabass wellington (idk if it is in their menu but WOW OH WOW was it good.) Go check them out when you can.

Had dinner here last night impromptu. We were a group of 8, and were seated immediately. Started off with a dozen oysters, prawn carpaccio, and jumbo prawn cocktail. Absolutely delicious and so fresh. I had the temari from the seasonal cherry blossom menu, which was so fresh and a lovely assortment of different fish. I finished with the butter cake. It wasn’t too sweet, but so rich I couldn’t finish. Fabulous service. Thought it’s a little awkward that you have to walk through where servers grab dishes from the kitchen in order to get to the restroom.

Made a reservation at 7:45pm for a family dinner celebrating an anniversary and was seated right away. Got a corner booth next to the kitchen, which was distracting as workers were loud, screaming and singing along to the music. Server greeted us with a tired and condescending attitude, but took our order appropriately. Waited 45 minutes on appetizers and drink orders came even after that. Server blamed everything on everyone else, saying that it was a busy day and everyone, including the bartender, was backed up. By the time we were started eating, it was not busy. The ambience was energetic but hectic. Our mains came 20 minutes later, with a mussel looking like there was a parasite on it and an eyelash in one of the dishes. Did not mention to the server because it was hard to get her attention. Otherwise, food was delicious with great portions. Our server kept visiting the table beside us but barely checked in with us or refilled our waters. Asked for the bill and waited 20 minutes. Drinks were comp’d by the manager. The experience was not great. Hesitant to return but will maybe give another try.

Amazing restaurant!!! Food was simply outstanding!! Beautiful place, great service and super fresh!!! Highly recommend!! Our server Rhonda was so knowledgeable and incredibly friendly!!Kudos Rhonda!!!I got the grilled plate, salmon, prawns, halibut and stuffed sole- incredible!!! Salmon was amazing, deep colored, cooked perfectly and sooooo good!

Came here for their newly offered Happy Hour menu. Odered Moscow Mule, Seafood Charcuterie, a few pieces of oysters and Smoked Salmon Flatbread. The prices were very reasonable and I was especially satisfied with the seafood charcuterie. The portion was sizeable with decent amount of tuna tataki, candied salmon (soft and flavourful, not the hard ones) and mackerel (saba). I was very full afterwards. The quality of tuna was very good and this is coming from someone who's very particular and picky about sashimi.

Very good seafood restaurant in downtown Vancouver. My visitor friends always ask to go there everytime they are in town. Both the food and wine menus provide easy and good choices.

Great happy hour. Go for the $1.50 oysters! Calamari was also delicious though portions were pretty small.

Know of this place for years but never been. Reservation was easy to get.Ordered Torched Prawn Carpaccio and truffle fries to start. Had Sable fish and scallops as main.The scallops and the Sable fish are cooked to perfection. The nature sweetness of the scallops is fully blended with the light seasoning.The texture of the Sable fish melts in your mouth.Definitely recommend.

Excellent lunch spot. Service was top notch and the dishes were packed with flavour. The gnocchi was a standout, definitely worth trying from the sides menu. Will be back again to try their happy hour and dinner menu :) left feeling full and pampered
