Where to Start. We where looking to purchase a fishing boat. Being from Sudbury we started looking online for a boat and stumble upon Orleans Boat World let me tell you how lucky we where to find Orleans Boat World. Sent an email request for a boat within a few hours Jeff the salesman return my email,from there Jeff made it so easy for me the listing for our new boat was very clear and accurate with loads of pictures and detailed information on the unit. Jeff even ask if we needed more pictures that he was gonna go outside to the boat and take more pictures for us to make us feel good about the boat we where looking to buy. After a week or so me and my son Benjamin took the drive from Sudbury to Orleans Boat World. The minute we set foot in there big clean welcoming boat store. Jeff the salesman and Dan the owner made us feel right at home and just like we knew them for 10+yrs. Once we seen the boat we wanted to purchase all the pictures and the information that was on the listing was more then 100% accurate. Jeff went through the boat with us with no rush and made sure before we left that we understood everything about our new purchase. The purchase of our new 2022 Ranger 1880 MS Angler from Orleans Boat World was a terrific experience. It took only three days from the time the boat arrived from the factory until it was ready to be picked up. At the last minute we asked for a modification to the extra boat seats, and within 30 minutes the staff had finished installing the new adjustable seat pedestals. When I got the boat home there was virtually no cleaning to do in any of the boat’s many compartments, but instead each compartment contained a different pleasant surprise including a complete boat care kit, a lithium battery booster, a waterproof storage box, four Plano tackle trays, and on-and-on. The next day we had the boat on the water for opening day of Walleye season and it worked flawlessly. Great job all-round!

I sold my boat this year and decided to go through Orleans Boat World because my boat has been stored with them for 3 seasons and I've always been happy with their service. I live in a tiny condo and have nowhere that I could have used to store and show my boat. So although there is a commission to sell the boat through them, it was worth every penny. I didn't have to lift a finger (or deal with any tyre kickers or low ballers). I first spoke to Myles who gave me info on the process and then Jeff took care of setting everything up. Jeff went above and beyond to make sure the boat was prepped and took care of everything with the buyer. The sale went off without a hitch and I couldn't be happier.

Recently purchased a used (consignment sale) from Jeff McGarry. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and very reassuring. I also dealt with Robin Weiner in the Business dept of the store as well.again found her to also be pleasant, very willing to help and quite knowledgeable. The overall experience was excellent. No pushy sales pressures at all, I found Jeff so helpful. Other staff in the store were also smiling and pleasant. I picked up my boat on the scheduled time and all the paperwork including the registrations was completed as required. I highly recommend Orleans Boat World and give them a top rating!

Happy for all of you who received excellent service. As for me, the service was awful. We called one month and then 2 weeks before to make sure our pontoon was ready to go and folks we rent a truck to bring our pontoon to the cottage….when, we got there, the pontoon wasn’t even on site, still wrapped up and not tuned up naturally. The windshield they supposedly ordered in NOVEMBER was not received. They quickly prepared the boat, no time for spring tune up. They told us they would call when new windshield arrived. In OCTOBER, we went to the store just to be told by John, they didn’t make them any more……wow…. Great communication skills. Very disappointed and will definitely not give them my business anymore.

We had great service first from Myles and then from Luc when we actually made the decision to purchase our boat. No pressure and very friendly and knowledgeable. Luc took the time to show us everything during the delivery of the boat which we really appreciated. I called after pick up with some questions and he was still super helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend them for your boat purchase! :)

I’ve dealt with two dealers in Ottawa for boats. Dealing with Jeff Mcgarry at Orleans Boat World, was a completely different experience.Jeff answered all of our questions, was timely in his responses, not pushy, knowledgable about the products & above all truly cared about getting us the right boat.When we picked up our new boat, he went out his way to make sure we understood all of the features.It’s great to deal with such a professional.

Great place to buy a boat. Jeff is highly organized and professional as is this business. Great people and culture. We got a fair number for our trade and also on our new boat. No lowballing or upselling whatsoever, really got the impression here that Jeff was looking for a satisfied customer above all else. Mission accomplished.
