Tepperman's Kitchener

Went to just take a look at a washer and dryer set. Not really intending to buy yet. The store was very clean and organized. Shelley was very informative on the various makes and models. There was no pressure at all. We left to do some research and we returned the next day to purchase. Excellent service and experience.

Just under 2 years ago we purchased a dining set, large corner chair and couch. When I say all items are in rough shape I mean every one. The chair lost all its rubber bottoms, the couch was always having cushions slide out but is now super indented and morphed. The dining table is peeling but the last straw for me to write this review is the kitchen chairs all of them we have re tightened every 6 months all of them the legs have bent different directions. I went to sit down to put my shoes on and the entire thing collapsed on me, we don’t even eat dinner at our table more than once a week we are two adults with no kids. There is no reason the metal should be bending and warped. My husband called teppermans and they said it’s been more than a year if we want to pay $180.00 for them to inspect them we can. Well I don’t know who would do that and the way in which they treated us left me feeling even if we did they would refuse to do anything. Horrible customer service horrible quality for the price. I wouldn’t recommend this at all.

My husband John and I purchased a couch and dealt with Patrick. He was the most patient and informative rep we have ever dealt with. This experience of ours will have us consider Teppermans number 1 in mind when purchasing future furniture. He did a great job at explaining the product and our different options and was very patient. He should definitely be promoted ! Very happy with his service

I had a very bad delivery conversation with the delivery guys. My delivery is scheduled for today but due to renovations, I am not supposed to be at home, I asked the guys to wait for 15 minutes, they said they can only wait for 5 minutes, I told them I can not reach in 5 minutes they said they have to reschedule, I asked them to leave the delivery at the door they mentioned they cant. This delivery system is not helping me at all. It feels like they just want to throw stuff at me and get burden off their chest but they dont want to provide good customer service. I hate when companies treat customers nothing but source of money.Initially I had a very good opinion on Tepperman's when they said proudly that they are family owned business but when they dont understand the situations of the customer's family, tepperman's is using family just for marketing, family doesnt mean anything to these guysAdded more to above reviewMy delivery for furniture came on 3rd, I wasn't home at that time but my contractors were at home. I paid for the delivery and installing the furniture. The delivery guys walked in with their shoes on my new floor and made all the floors salty and very dirty, we have floor matt to rub off the shoes, they didn't choose to do that and just walked in like they don't care and have no respect!! Not just that they damaged my freshly painted walls hitting them with the bed, they dragged furniture on my floor and caused scratches. They didnt clear the covers they unwraped and made all dirty, they left nails on the floor. It feels like I paid for damaging my home and it cased me even more to fix the damages. I have pictures of them all. I hated to do business with you guys but since I already ordered the furniture so I had no choice. Not I will avoid you and your stupid delivery at all cost!!

Shameful business. A business handled by smart people. They send faulty furniture and give you an option to choose either reimbursement or replacement. I choose replacement for the bedroom set. The new set was also faulty as expected. The dresser has sharp chips inside the drawer. It is totally different than the display unit. The bed seems like returned from someone. They again gave 2 options. Now I can’t take chances with their super so called helpful and well mannered delivery people. I asked to take away everything and give my money back. They refused. So I have paid $200 +tax to take away the dresser (I have paid for the mistake that the store did. Because it is so bad that I can’t even touch it. We have a 5 years old kid at home.) and mirror and kept the bed. They reimbursed for that but now our bedroom is without the dresser. I also do not want to encourage this business to switch furniture from one house to other house. (They denied that they do, but I am sure this is how they are handling the business.)I have emailed pictures and called them every day to fix the things but I think they do business this way. Earning money from us for the faulty piece.(edit: account under my husband’s name - Nilesh Darji. Also I am unable to send a private message) no response after editing the post, which is expected from Tepperman, no surprise.

Doug was very pleasant, respectful, honest to work with. Very down to earth and was understanding of my concerns. I appreciate that he didn't take it personally when I declined his first offers for help and respectfully left me alone to browse all the washer and dryers first. But then was quick to attend to me when I was ready to ask questions. He also didn't heavily pressure me to buy something in full today or to buy more expensive models. As a result I left feeling in control and excited about purchasing my new laundry set.

I would highly recommend going to see Patrick at Tepperman's. Typically, I never like going to these types of stores. High pressure sales tactics that make you leave with that not so great feeling. This was definitely the exception to that rule.We went in knowing what we were looking for and Patrick helped up find an amazing new bed at a great price.Patrick was friendly, knowledgeable, willing and able to give us some space to talk, he was pretty much everything you'd hope for in a sales person. All in all it was the perfect experience...if only we had gone there first.

I am a return customer. This is my third purchase at Tepperman's Kitchener and is always my go to first when I'm looking for well made and affordable prices. The service is very honest and forthright and I really appreciate that they provide Canadian made products. Check their website often as there are always such good deals to find. How else was I able to get two 85 sofas delivered for under $1

A nice bright well stocked place with helpful staff.Paul is the most knowledgeable TV guy I know (at least 40 years experience).Heidi in furniture was very helpful with our queries about a recliner.The folks in the back were super at getting the chair into the Subaru and I just wish they were there when I tried to get it out.
