We were visitors in town. We saw this restaurant had patio seating and inside seating, so we picked this restaurant to try. We had the French onion soup; the soup was good. The trout Rilette was okay. I didn’t like some spice in the cauliflower. We ordered thick cut sirloin. It was a 6 oz with the herb butter and peppercorn sauce. It was delicious. The Cornish hen was very tasty too, we loved the mustard cream. The portion was small, but the overall experience was good. The staff service was average. The price was reasonable. We would recommend this restaurant.

Although the food was delicious, the portion size was a bit small for the price, leaving me a little hungry at the end of the meal. Nonetheless, the overall dining experience was great and I would recommend this restaurant to others.

We came here to eat on Canada Day so it was a little busy but the lady who served us was great. It was a set menu for the day so I had the bison burger with salad and my partner had the reuben with fries. The orders came out in good time and were delicious. I am glad we had indoor seating which was cooler and quieter then the busy patio.I would recommend anyone try this place if in Elora.

Busy little place in downtown Elora. Easy walking distance from the Elora Mill hotel/ spa.Our group had the “Big Mac”-esque burger and a chicken wrap in a pita with cucumber, tzatziki etc. Shoestring fries. The chicken was a tad dry and it would have been perfect with a little tzatziki on the side. My dining mate said the burger was good.There is a good sized patio.Good service, didn’t take too long to get our meal.

Had a unique experience at The Evelyn. Our server, Harry was amazing. From the moment we walked in, he made us feel welcomed right away. Ordered a White Sangria (not on the menu) and he prepped it the way it should be. Def better than any other place would make it. Food was flavourful. Service was impeccable from beginning to end. Would def make the 1hr drive again thanks to Harry.

One of the best dining experiences I have had. Many good things to talk about so we'll break them down.The menu is super seasonal which is perfect. Only fresh ingredients across the board. I had a Cornish Hen with a Dijon creme and it was wonderful. Cornish hen was bang on and the skin was beautifully browned.Service wise; awesome. We had the manager serving our table. Overheard the manager encouraging a new staff person to ask questions as that's how they learn. Always happy to hear that the experience is a good one for both customer and employee.We ate on the patio which was wonderful. Music was a good volume, it felt busy in a good way. Not crowded.Will come back next time I'm in town. For sure going to be the place I recommend to friends that are going to Elora.

I’m not even exaggerating, this restaurant genuinely had the best food I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered their pasta special and it was absolutely delicious. I was actually SHOCKED when I took the first bite. It was so flavourful, yet not overly heavy.My friend ordered a burger with fries and their fries are the best I’ve ever had. They’re not oily at all, very crispy and salted perfectly. I’m definitely coming back for the burger and fries next time!!!This was such a wonderful experience and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!!

Such a lovely intimate place to enjoy some delicious food. I would have liked to go out on the patio but it was chilly. Guess I'll have to come back for that. The food was amazing and the service was even better. All around a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend

Great place, very local! The fries and french onion soup were highlights, definitely recommend. Burger was too dense, seafood pasta was ok, sauce did not incorporate the seafood flavor, which made it blander than it should be.
