The library has some fantastic seats with barriers for privacy where you can read or get remote work done. Also, if you get the gym membership, it gives you access to the pools, basketball courts, gym, and more, across Sherwood, Leisure Centre, Sports Center, and the Velodrome. It's also just $47 dollars, which is cheaper than L.A fitness and not much more than the Black Pass at Fit4Less. Milton is really killing it with these community centres!

The pool needs a massive water slide or Tarzan rope. Not fun enough.Multipurpose room 4 needs a projection screen. Let's make a good Community Centre amazing!

This actually a new community centre. It has mainly 3 activities. Swimming, skating/hockey and a library. Activities are pass as you go or drop ins and you have to check the my Milton app or website to see the available drop in activities and their respective timelines. Quite restrictive for people who want to do their activities daily. However, you can check the Milton leisure center and the Milton fitness center for similar services on different days. Very big and spacious.

Architectural beauty. If only the library section could be expanded.

Really enjoyed this play pool with my grandchild! The pool is well equipped with float mats and other toys to play with. There are water spouts and fountains in the pool that were fun to play under. The change rooms are gender neutral however, there are ample private cubicles to change in as well as lockers to use at no cost. Bring your own lock. Will definitely be back!!

Beautiful community centre. Very well maintained. Nice library and hockey rinks.Pool is nice. But not very deep or big in size.Only thing I found lacking was the number of showers. Tons of lockers and change rooms but only a few common showers... Maybe we didn't look hard enough.Change rooms are universal and not gender specific, something to keep in mind if your aren't comfortable using gender neutral change rooms..

As a frequent visitor to various pools, I have always valued the importance of rules and regulations in ensuring a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for all. However, it is with a heavy heart that I express my disappointment regarding the lack of enforcement of length swim rules by lifeguards and managers at Sherwood Community Center pool. One of the fundamental rules in many swimming facilities is the designated area for length swimming. This designated space provides swimmers with the opportunity to engage in uninterrupted, continuous laps without hindrance or interruption. Regrettably, the disregard for enforcing this rule has become increasingly evident, and it significantly impacts the overall experience for swimmers.Firstly, when lifeguards and pool managers fail to enforce the length swim rules, the swimming lanes become overcrowded with individuals who are not adhering to the designated lanes for leisurely activities. This congestion not only compromises the safety of swimmers but also impedes the progress and effectiveness of those who are looking to swim laps for fitness or training purposes. The absence of strict enforcement not only diminishes the quality of the swimming experience but also exposes swimmers to unnecessary risks and potential accidents.Secondly, the lack of enforcement also contributes to an atmosphere of indiscipline, disrespect of fellow swimmers and disregard for the rules among pool visitors. When swimmers witness the lenient approach taken by lifeguards and managers in upholding the length swim rules, they are more likely to adopt a casual attitude towards following other pool regulations as well. This breakdown in discipline can create chaos and conflicts between swimmers with varying objectives, making it challenging for individuals to fully enjoy their time in the pool.Furthermore, the failure to enforce length swim rules contradicts the role and responsibility of lifeguards and pool managers. Their primary duty is to prioritize the safety and well-being of all pool users. By allowing the infringement of these rules, lifeguards and managers are compromising the safety of swimmers who rely on their expertise and authority to ensure a controlled and secure swimming environment. In conclusion, the lack of enforcement of length swim rules by lifeguards and managers is a concerning oversight that has a detrimental impact on the overall swimming experience. It compromises safety, disrupts the purpose of designated swim lanes, and fosters an atmosphere of indiscipline. Pool management must address this issue promptly to ensure that swimmers can enjoy a safe and fulfilling swimming experience, while respecting the rules and objectives of all users.

My daughter visited the library at this community centre. We can watch hockey matches as well as kids' swimming lessons while we wait. They have a library, a single pool, and two sizable ice skating rinks. Accessible and huge parking is available there as well.

I take my son for swim lessons there. There is a library inside the community centre. The library is not as big as the main branch. But if I order it from main branch they transfer the books to sherwood. Parking during weekdays in the evening is very difficult to get near the entrance due to swim lessons.
