Fergies Fine Foods

Picked up an apple pie and butter tarts to go with our Good Friday meal. Was very good. Apples were not over cooked and pie was not overly sweet. Delicious in every way. Butter tarts are a favourite in our house - almost a staple! Delicious and freshly made.

We just hired Fergie's to cater a large family gathering. They worked with, us making suggestions, designing the menu to suit all tastes and food preferences. The table looked amazing covered with all sorts of savouries and sweets. They even went out of their way to sneak in a couple of NFL treats when they heard that there was a guest from out East. Food amazing, display beautiful, price excellent. Thank you Fergie's.

The pecan tarts and Portuguese custard tarts were a huge hit at my team meeting! Coming back to sample all of the other amazing foods and treats they have!!

I'd give it more for the food, but I'm not returning. Second time customer and definitely my last. I was so turned off I was ready to get back in line and return the $60 worth of food I just bought. I've heard horrible stories about the abruptness of the owner from many people and chose to see past it. Today, I got a taste of the cold shoulder from the owner. I just finished being helped by a very kind woman and I was passed on to be rung out by the owner. I paid for my items and Miriam started bagging them. She did not even acknowledge me the whole time I was checking out (I sure did though) and after having bagged my items behind her counter where it wasn't accessible to me - she snapped at the person who helped me prior to checking out to 'leave that' (my receipt) and help the next person ordering items. She then completely ignored me and started ringing out the next customer acting as if I didn't exist and I thought, maybe she's just getting to the payment stage and she will pass the bag to me... Nope. I politely said, am I allowed behind there to grab the bag? No acknowledgement. I finally went behind the counter and grabbed the bag and left. The other people that work in the store are very kind, but if you're that angry and bitter, maybe you should stay behind the scenes so you can maintain your business's integrity.

Grabbed a spiced sausage roll. Hands down the best I've had in Ontario and I drove all the way from KW.

I used Fergies catering for my son’s rehearsal dinner prior to the day of his wedding at the Elora Mill Hotel and Spa. Miriam was an absolute please to work with. I ordered chicken parmigiana, pasta with vegetables as well as vegetarian lasagna. In addition there was garden salad as well as Cesar salad. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Everything exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend.

Fergies Fine Foods makes incredible take-away meals that I feel good about serving my family (and all their picky requests) and has so many options for my health-needs too. Every holiday, Fergies is on the table, but pretty much every week too. Service. Quality. A fun shopping experience. And those chocolate pies ...amazing!

We picked up the Family Day Special to enjoy this afternoon. It was absolutely delicious!! It was dinner for 6, there were 6 of us and we still had leftovers. Everything was included right down to the croutons & bacon bits. This made our family time together so nice (especially for mom). Best decision I’ve made in a long time. Thank you all for all of your hard work & amazing service. Absolutely 15/10!!❤️
