I ordered wood from City Logger's this year (it was definitely city loggers). I concur with the negative posts...they certainly hold true to what I received from the business.Pro's-fairly accurate amount, seems like decent hardwood.Con's-this wood was so poorly split I had to split at least 50% of the pieces to get them to a reasonable/average size. I added some pics (I've written the measurement's in inches right on the wood-these are huge pieces) and the pics are representative of at least 1/2 the pile. I should be added to the payroll for the work I had to do.-this wood wasn't anywhere near ready to burn. When I was splitting the huge pieces, many were SOAKED internally. This wood isn't anywhere near ready to burn this year. My moisture meter which seems to be very accurate was reading 40-50% moisture. I definitely did not getting seasoned wood.-I concur with the dirt comments as well...the amount of dirt mixed in with the pile was crazy. Major cleanup needed.Look elsewhere.

Fall is here and time to stack the firewood! The whole load smells so good and Roy is always on time with our orders, always smiling and willing to dump it where I ask him. Since it is is getting close to Thanksgiving, I just wanted to say how grateful I am for his excellent service and awesome wood!

You will be told the wood is seasoned. You will then have a pile of green wood which looks like it was buried underground for months covered in caked on dirt with a mixture of pieces from too large all the way to wood chips. I expressed my concern only to be told I am storing it wrong. I have it in my heated garage. I grew up heating our house with wood, splitting and seasoning annually so this review comes with a bit of experience. I also expressed I wasn’t happy and was told I should have ordered in the summer. We just had the stove installed so planning that far in advance was not possible. I wasn’t looking for any reimbursement, I just wanted to be told the truth. I have since ordered wood from a reputable source seasoned for three years, and it’s incredible. My fireplace is 2 months old and had to clean the chimney as a result of this green wood. Buyer beware here.

Cityloggers were a pleasure to deal with. They were proffesional punctual and very courteous.They took some extra time to dump the wood in a tight spot to help me out.Excellent seasoned wood at a great price.I highly recommend them.

Although due to technical problem with truck we got the delivery late but the quality of the fire wood was excellent. We are very happy and Roy gave us extra wood for the late delivery.

This company provided us with high quality, select hardwood mix, well seasoned, at a very reasonable price in the dead of winter. Roy provided us with excellent speedy delivery service and was very helpful about arranging a city-friendly drop-off. We have ordered bush cords the last two years from city loggers..the wood is awesome seasoned well and burns great. All hardwood.delivery is on time when promised and very reasonably.priced. I would not hesitate to buy next year..also the stacking service is a plus!! Thankyou roy and city loggers

Being in Toronto, finding proper wood can be a challenge. I don't heat my home with my fireplace like we did when I lived in the country so my need for wood changed from any hardwood to proper hardwood to cook on. I called and learnt that Cityloggers have a deal with Fortinos and sell bagged wood specific for cooking So I headed up and picked up a few bags for when I want that wood coal cooking flavour. I dont require a bush Cord or even a face cord so this fits the bill just right. Cooked some amazing steaks and then some smoked roasted red peppers.

Roy has delivered to us great wood at a great price for a few years now. This year, we tried the bags. Fantastic!!!

Roy came on time and delivered decent wood. I read a comment about the wood being green and well, to address that comment… It’s what I would expect from a winter delivery. It’s the middle of February ! The wood I received isn’t seasoned perfectly but can be burned — it is seasoned a bit — around 20% moisture content… ! If I left this stuff outside for a summer it would be absolutely perfect. Usually you can’t find any at this time, was lucky there was some left. — thanks Roy.
