Jane's Tea Garden/ Canada Post Garden City Office

Please update your opening hours there are 3 different times on the Canada Post paper it says all week til 6pmOn Google til 5pm on Saturday even though you close at 4pm.Very misleadingMy wife went to pick up a package and could not do so because you closed 1 hour earlier than advertised.Please change this so that people can schedule their day accordingly.Thanks

Been a customer in that store for many years, as no other choice was offered by Canada Post. Here's why my 1 star review:Several times, this place was closed when it should have been open. They make their own hours???? Does Canada Post know about this??? i hope they (Canada Post) select their partner pick up locations more carefully. In more than one occasion, the lady couldn't find my parcels, so i had to ask her to go check her warehouse again.When the pick up option across the street (Paulik) inside Shoppers Drug mart, I didn't hesitate to switch locations. Was a great decision.. plus, i don't have to deal with the challenging parking lot in that complex!

I leave a lot of reviews on Google maps, always trying to leave an honest review of an establishment. Most of my reviews are positive so please take that in regard when you read this negative review.At first I left just a rating , in response to Jane's comment.I appreciate your reply and can respect that you are reaching out to try to improve. Your service is not bad in terms of being prompt and orderly. What I do have a problem with is the pushy sales tactics and the bad attitude I have encountered from you, and have observed during my short visits to this post office/tea shop.I come here a handful of times throughout the year. A couple years ago I would come to send letters once in awhile, back then due to my own naivety and lack of experience I did not know the difference in price for sending letters. The couple times I had wanted to send a letter you took advantage of that and charged me for the most expensive option. This had happened maybe 3 times before I caught on.I have also seen you been rude to customers for no reason, show an attitude, or simply be rude with no apparent trigger or warning.I do not intend to offend, but to leave an honest description of my encounter.Have a good day, thank you for taking the time to respond and read what I have written.

Went to pick up a parcel Saturday, August 6 around 5 p.m. They say they are open till 6 but they were closed! Now it's Monday and I'm trying to call and make sure they are open but no one will answer the telephone! They are supposed to be open till 6. Are they really there? Who knows!

I love this post office!I go here frequently for business and personal mailings -- Jane and her whole staff are always fast, friendly, polite, and happy to help!When it is slow, it's great to shop for teas and chat with the staff. And when it's busy, they work hard and fast to get all the customers served efficiently.I wish every post office was as great and welcoming as this one!Keep up the great work!

Great little post office, I get my items from Amazon sent their by default and pick them up. So handy, you pick it up when you have time, Amazon will notify when its ready to pickup. Lots of free parking in the front of the building and on the street. Owner is very helpful and has a great attitude, she make's sure her staff is always on point. If you need to ship an item or get stamps, please shop local and take your business there. Haven't tried the tea part of it but she seems to quite an expert on it, something some might try and learn about the history and tradition of tea in Chinese culture. Always a pleasant experience when I pay a visit.

I didn’t believe some of the reviews I read. Until I experienced it myself. I mailed 5 letters to different locations both domestic and international. The total wasn’t much so I didn’t pay much attention. Afterwards I just wanted to double check the rates and discovered she charged me 2 local stamps instead of one stamp for the US. Less than $1 extra I had to pay. The thing is she never said anything about this. Very dishonest and unprofessional.

Wanted to pick up a parcel on Saturday . As per sign on the door , they are suppose to be open from 9.30 on . I went there at 10.30 and 1300. Both times the business was closed . I reported them to Canada post . This is not the first time this happened . Since they are an outlet for CP, this should not be happening

Very unpleasant experience with this location, I suggest going to the Canada Post across the street inside Shoppers Drug Mart instead. The staff here are rude and lack knowledge of typical post and mail procedures. They are unaware of shipping conditions so they just answer no upfront to any questions, which I later looked up on the Canada Post official site to find them inaccurate. They will also overcharge you for shipping a parcel if you don't know any better, proceed with caution so you don't get taken advantage of.

Very rude and bad service , they even forced me to buy a tape to attach the label instead of using their own tape!
