Dollarama

Worst self checkouts around. Machine stops constantly and the rude young guy working had to keep resetting them allwith his pw, while dealing with long line up. I normally have no problem using self check out but these machines are NOT customer friendly at all. I will not go back here due to these machines and the rude employee. This is in the Freshco plaza at Queenston and Nash Roads . Use at your own risk of serious frustration

First time I've been to this store.Like others, they are changing to self service kiosks. I've had terrible experience previously with their's but this time no hiccups at all. It could have been a fluke.Store was pretty well stocked.I might be a little odd but I generally love Dollarama. I like to find things I've never seen before. Of course, there's also a lot of not so good quality stuff but you learn to spot those and keep away.On the subject of prices; I saw my first $4.75 price and I almost fainted. What's the world coming to?As Dollarama must know, there's going to be a time when customers will not want to bother anymore with one more trip stop and just go to Walmart. One star off.

I like this establishment, and the self checkouts are a godsend! However, I am disappointed the aisles are constantly changing, making it hard to remember where things are. Also: screaming kids. There's that. In every Dollarama. And what's up with the prices? It isn't as much of a dollar store as it is a four-dollar store!

Cheap stuff (One dollar or more), good variety of goods, friendly staff, but no return or exchange, so if you are going to be reluctant to buy from a place and need to be sure about something before you buy it, this is the one. Dollar tree is new to it and it’s cheaper (1.25 Dollar or less)

Normally i would rate all Dollarama's with 5 stars, as they are one of my favourite places to shop. Sadly, this location seems to be weeding out cashiers and replacing them with checkout machines. I usually buy a good $30+ every time i go in; I don't want to play cashier" with my purchases. The staff are much faster checking out than i am. If i wanted to "play cashier"

I would buy more items but I don't like your self-checkout system. You're adding more work and frustration for your customers. You are driving customers away and sending them to Amazon. I would rather pay a little more than have to deal with the frustration of your self-checkouts that no one ever asked for. Jeff Bezos sends his thanks!

Decent prices if you keep an eye out for good finds. Really great price on 12 bully sticks for dogs but often unavailable. Product availability is hit or miss except the staples they always carry.Their safety standards have been slipping lately. Often I will see entire families with no mask or masks not actually pulled up walking around yelling

Lots of great stuff always readys for the new season like fall Halloween and even Christmas ,always a great places for a fast shopping trip

Not a fan of being pushed to use the self checkouts , probably the rudest employee there is Rhonda.If you don't want to use the self checkouts she will rudely tell you that you have to because she's not opening a cash nor calling for backup.I will never go back....Eastgate Dollarama is much friendlier.
