Prestige Prince Rupert Hotel
Upon arrival, walking thru the lobby, I noticed the cleanliness problem. The lady at the desk seemed very disinterested in her job. More interested in her cell phone. We, finally, arrived at our room. Smelled horrible. Looked at my wife and I asked her to leave the luggage on the cart. I turned the cell phone light on and started looking around the room. I quickly lifted the mattress and seen the bedbug. I knew it! Darn it. We vacated our room and went to get our money returned and explained the bedbug infestation. Again, not interested. First and last time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BEDBUG INFESTATION. There are plenty of good options in Prince Rupert. Prestige is disgusting.Note: The manager responded to this review stating something about a Cat or Cats. Sorry sir, I don't own Cats. Please STOP trying to make excuses for your lack of management. Remember....the 'buck' stops with you.

I had a very bad experience during my stay. As the rooms were not cleaned and have old furniture. I stayed for week. During my stay, I was bitten by BED BUGS, I thought it was a mosquitoes bite but after that I talked with my friend and said it’s bed bugs infestation. I talked at the front desk receptionist but she had no what to say.Before you book I would recommend you to check your room if it’s bed bugs infestation or not.

Friendly staff at check in and a large room with a view. My room was clean and had all the amenities I required. I'm booking here again on my next trip to Prince Rupert.

Prestige Prince Rupert Hotel
I stayed here because the free airport shuttles leave from the front door. I had alot of heavy bags that would require a cab from another hotel or motel to this hotel in order to catch the shuttle which has to take a ferry to the island Airport.The staff are very helpful and truly interested in making your stay hassle free. I even received a welcome phone call to the room after I settled in, asking if the room was good and if I needed anything.

Staff and management are courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Rooms and amenities are well maintained and plentiful. The only observation I have that would benefit the overall experience would be the addition of grab bars in the bathtub. Speaking of the bathtubs, they have larger than usual tubs, which makes a nice long soak relaxing. You should stay here when in Prince Rupert!

Prince Rupert airport shuttle departs here. Leave any luggage to be checked in the luggage area and then board the bus.The bus will drive to the Digby Island ferryOnce aboard uou can leave the bus for the quick 15 minute ferry crossing. Once ln tge otherwise the bus Once again drives you to the aurport.Pickup your checked bags that will have been unliaded and placed on the luggage carousel.Even if checked in online. Proceed to check-in desks to have your baggage weighed and labelled.Take both your checked baggage and carry-on through Security. The zsecurity Sgrnt will ensure your checked bags are directed to the plane for loading.There is a small departures lounge with vending machine and toilets.Walk out to plane across Apron and up slope which is goid for wheel chair access.

Our room was recently updated but cheaply so - as in the laminate floor is uneven and sticks out, the taps in the bathroom are backwards for hot and cold, there is no barrier between the bottom of the doors and the carpet so the hallway noise funnels right in. The front desk staff were pleasant. The hotel is centrally located.

Prestige Prince Rupert Hotel
I can't say enough good things about my experience so far. Check in was quick and easy with super friendly staff. Our room was immaculate. The bath tub is a large soaker tub which was really nice. Great shower with lots of pressure. Went down for breakfast and loved the waffles. The lady working in the breakfast room was friendly, made breakfast for a couple different people besides keeping the room spotless. Over all a great experience so far and we will definitely be back!
