Saw a very good play there, the venue is smaller, but that means that you're closer to the stage. Very enjoyable!

Clean, bright and the ice surface looks good. Decent sight lines foe the rink. Kinda cold wish they would turn on the heaters

Scarborough Village Recreation Centre
There’s a lot of events held at this community centre for all ages. Check the schedule we’ll in advance to book for recreation. I went to a free community flower show on a weekend afternoon. It’s not a new centre so it’s a little dated and the facilities could use an upgrade.

We rented a room for a private and confidential meeting and every 5 minutes someone came into the room, even staff. People from the room next to us had stuff stored in our space and rather than removing it prior to our meeting they kept barging in. Once the person that was running out meeting went to make a complaint, five people came in all at once to get what they wanted and everyone was extremely rude. It's a shame, because I used to love taking my kids skating there, but I would never rent a space there, it wasn't even tidy on top of everything.

I volunteer at the theatre there, they are always looking for people to volunteer. I have learned so much about theatre in my time here. From snack bar to back stage to acting there is so much opportunity. The plays are wonderful to.

We always hold our meeting here. I'm glad they are open afternoon the pandemic. It has indoor hockey rink that open til night. This is also the place used for vaccination before. The location is very accessible. Lots of parking around the area. And bus stop is just right at the corne.

Scarborough Village Recreation Centre
A wonderful place for skiing and for some good recreation. Very friendly Staff! Heavily disappointed to see they stopped selling books and magazines which were one of the great attractions for my visit.Update: Books are back! Thanks to the management and two thumbs up for keeping this signature initiative of this location!
