Sylvan Learning of Chestermere

Our experience at Sylvan Learning Chestermere has been exceptional. Deborah and her staff really go the extra mile to connect with the kids and make sure everyone is reaching their goal. Our son went from working on skills at a grade 2 level to working his grade 7 grade level in 5 months. Well worth the investment! We would highly recommend this to anyone who’s child is needing extra help with school.

I am currently getting tutored at Sylvan - Chestermere and honestly Chris is the best tutor I have ever had, he is patient, he takes time to explain things until you understand them and the woman who runs this location is Debbie, she is so flexible with your schedules and is very patient with every one that goes through there. I would not have made it through another semester of school if it wasn’t for them. They are amazing tutors and teachers. I am so grateful for them, especially with all of the guidance and support they have given me the past few months.

My Son has improved 2 reading levels in the last 6 months! Thank you Sylvan!! He loved going to Sylvan in Chestermere and the atmosphere was always positive!

AMAZING!!!!!!! Have love the whole experience. The Center Director Deborah Darling is very knowledgable. Deborah made sure that are son had a great experience and great program to fit into. Chris Drescher is a phenomenal teacher. He goes the extra mile. I am so thankful for Sylvan of Chestermere. I enrolled my 14 year old daughter in math tutoring at Sylvan Learning of Chestermere in the latter half of August 2021 as she was failing math and going into grade 9. Her assessment showed that her math skills were below grade 5 level math which was frightening to me. I have been receiving reports updating me on her progress and her February 2022 report card now shows that she is passing grade 9 math! I credit Sylvan Learning of Chestermere with her progress and now have hopes that my daughter will eventually graduate. I feel much better about her going into grade 10!

My 7yrs old son went to Sylvan to work on his reading because he fell behind during the pandemic, six months later he was at grade three level.Sylvan chestermere did a great job ,I highly recommend them.

Debbie and Chris have been an excellent addition to support the transition from Junior high to High School academics! Their flexibility to our schedule has made it possible to access tutoring when it works best for us in-between sports activities. Highly recommend!

I inquired this morning about getting my son additional supports. The man was not good at answering basic questions like the Duration time" of an assessment but was quick to say $95.00 and I'll pull up my calender.With that wasn't considerate that I can't accommodate a 2pm assessment while my child is at school.The constant wrap around about payment and payment options of $260.00/month seems more important that discussing my sons needs for attending this program to help himThan expected me to give my credit card information over the phone to hold a spot for next Thursday... I said I wasn't comfortable he sad he could text me a payment optionI asked to be emailed as that's more secure and he couldn't. Really disappointed in this company and the people representing it. I used this when I was a child and my own mother said it wasn't like that to enroll me.Very unfortunate!"
