Preston Park Velodrome
Perfect place to watch our 5 year old ride a bike for the first time. There wasn’t any sort of race or event on so it was very quiet.

Preston Park Velodrome
About 3m elevation on the north-east corner of the track by my trackers measuring. Decent tarmac and some wind cover, though it can still get quite windy. Overall a decent place for a bit of measured exercise.

Love it so much. Could do with better notice online of when it's booked out to clubs. Really wish they didn't let cricket on there (there's plenty of porches, but precious few velodromes). But I love this facility.

The velodrome is great. It is at the periphery of a Cricket ground. The views from the field and the ring are spectacular. It shows so much of Brighton from one single spot. Loved the day spent here playing Cricket towards the end of summer.

Preston Park Velodrome
First time visit, parking was OK but the local green party council like to charge a Kings ransome for the privilege, the outdoor velodrome was the main reason for the visit (oldest in the UK apparently) and the surface was replaced a few years ago. Spent a few hours there and was a nice place. But beware of dog dirt! Not all Brighton dog owners seem to know the law and carry a poo bag!

Preston Park Velodrome
It's fallen into disrepair recently so it can't stage official races anymore but it continues to be a great venue for kids to learn to ride bikes and is used widely by the local community. Also a nice place to to sit and watch cricket on a summers day.
