Hired Murray Baker for some projects around my house, take down old deck, rebuild new one, rebuild walkway, secure foundation leak and redo interlock. Murray was professional and addressed all issues. Good quality and good value. I would hire him again to do any project around my property.

I do not recommend this company. Each time it rains, the floor is wet even if the shed is on beams and doesn't touch the ground. Murray Baker doesn't return your calls even if it is written on his website that he guarantees his work. Check the Ottawa Shed Source post on Facebook, Truted Pros, BBB, Yelp before hiring.

Look up the owner - Murray Baker - and believe everything you read.I hired him in the fall of 2020; my plan was to get the foundation poured for a 24 x 24 workshop before the weather turned bad. The plans he submitted to the City look like they were drawn by a 4 year old. The foundation was poured in the fall, but it wasn't supported correctly and the forms bowed out, making the slab more ovoid than square, with a big dip in the middle that he tried to fix later, but made a topographical map of the Rockies. The framing is horrible – only 2 or 3 studs are 16 inch on center. Undersized 2x6 roof trusses and joists lapped for the joists and only held in with 1 screw each. Trusses should be 2x8, and the joists 2x10 continuous from side to side.He always had an excuse, and it was usually given after weeks of absence. None of them were particularly good either.I hired him in September of 2020 and in August 2021, he still wasn’t done. I fired him for gross incompetence and unreasonable timelines.The city inspector was horrified by what they saw when I called them for an inspection.For the love of all things good... do not hire this man. I don't know if he does this on purpose, or he's just got an inflated outlook on his skills, but I wouldn't trust him to build a doghouse.The lies, deceit, and skill from this man should be criminal.It's cost me thousands of dollars to fix what he left. If I had left it, it would be a pile of firewood now because it would have fallen down (like some of his other projects have).

Stay away from this clown. I hired Murray to demo and rebuild a shed that was on the property line. Due to the age of the ahed it was grandfathered in. Murray took down the shed without a permit eliminating the possibility of rebuilding the shed in the same location and the same size. Throughout the process Murray was unresponsive with weeks before he would respond to emails. There was a delay between demoing and the building. I fired him before he could start the rebuild and do anymore damage.

Changed his name from Largo Sheds to Ottawa Shed Source only after he earned an F rating with the BBB. He got no permits, his work was shoddy and dangerous, his work was faulty & partially collapsed, he destroyed our lawn, our deck, our railing & solar lights, broke our lawn furniture and dented our new PVC gate & fence. Left nails all over our grass & on our deck. His shed was not built to code. Everything was wrong. He took 6 months for a job he told us would take one week he killed a litter of newborn puppies by freezing them to death. We had to fire him. He gave us excuse after excuse after excuse. He never repaid us for his damages. He ran away after he heard we had security cameras.
