Great rest stop along your journey. Lots of parking, clean public restrooms and a chip wagon. There is even a nearby playground for your little ones to stretch their legs and get their silliess out.

Tweed Memorial Park
A far better place to stop than those souless On Routes off the 401. We travelled through Tweed on our way back from Ottawa recently and pit stopped here. Good for dogs, decent public washroom on site. Grab some food at one of the restaurants in town or make a picnic at one of the picnic tables near the water.

A nice peaceful park. Lot's of things to do here. We stopped off here during a round trip down highway 37. Got some subway sandwiches from across the street and deiced to eat in the park. Nice grassy area for the dog, and nice views of the lake as well.

Has a beach front, large canopy large park for kids and indoor washroom. Kinda smells funky from beach. Also has a peer that kids can jump off safely. Beautiful little part of tweed. Minus the fishy smell.

Tweed Memorial Park
Got into this place coincidentally while on the way back to Toronto from Ottawa. Such a nice place for a stop over. Lot of new rides for the kids, have nice and neat washroom, have benches for food , lot of parking spots and also a nice lake view. Highly recommended!!

A really nice small park with nice views, which work very nicely as a stopping point when you're driving around. It has a sobering monument to the memory of the young men lost in the great wars (and the Korean War and the War in Afghanistan), and a nice chip wagon that's always parked there. Also a conveniently placed gas station and Subway across the street for you to refuel. I also enjoy its proximity to the water.

We used the boat launch there, again. Lots of room to maneuver your boat. Cement ramp and then cement blocks and then a large dock to finish the job. Lots of fish (I saved them for everyone). Fish or hunt there. I should have had my gun for the geese. Nice cottages and homes on the lake. Not too many days left to enjoy it.

It's a quaint little park by the lake. Good for a pit stop or picnic. The bonus is the Duffer's chip truck - can't go wrong there.The park has swings, slides, climbing wall, and sand box/ table. The water isn't very clean, so swimming is not recommended.Right now, with covid, the park is being regularly sprayed with sanitizer.Prior to covid, this park hosts many fun and important events for the town - make sure to stop and support your local small towns!
