The two guys worked well together, they explained everything they were going to do before it was done. And did i good job cleaning up at the end of the day. They also fed my black flies so they weren't just going after me.

Called them for a second opinion on chimney structure. Tech came, told us we needed a $6K repair without even being able to see into the chimney for structure, and then never bothered to send us a quote. The least you could do for $6K is bring a proper camera.

I have a non working fireplace (filled with insulation) and have had no problems for years and then recently, every time it rains, it rains in my living room. I called this company because of the good reviews. I had an appointment and told roughly $5-6000" then "$10

Our tech, Chris was incredible! He cleaned our wood stove & pellet stove, the jobs appeared tedious but he went above and beyond answering all of our questions and doing extra little things that were not part of the standard cleaning. Highly recommend this company as we will use them again.

Chris was absolutely awesome. I try to understand everything my house needs to operate, so some tradesmen get annoyed, but Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and willing to explain how things work and what it takes to keep them in good shape. He was very thorough, professional, left the area very clean, and even provided some helpful insight into the best way to operate our stoves. The office folks were also very friendly and helpful. Black Moose is our go-to chimney company from here on out! Thanks!
