Best school in town because one of the best principal and staff. Definitely no ranking because is new school. I highly recommend this school to every one.

Good school with wonderful staff. My kids are enjoying their time here.Teachers are very cooperative.

Not gonna lie, it’s a pretty good school. The principal is usually always smiling and welcoming. As much as I hate school, I do want to come back here with my friends. Of course it’s not perfect, for example some students are rude, but it’s a good school.

The best school ever in Milton . Amazing principle ,teachers ,workers ,volunteers and the front desk are super professional .The whole team are friendly and spreading positive and happy vibes they are always smiling and supporting no matter how difficult the situation is . Never been just tryna drag the rating down

Staff was unhelp in my learning and they start swearing at my son. Now my son is in the hospital because of it.

By far the best public school I have come across. My kids have been a student here since they opened and I have nothing but amazing experiences. From the office staff to the teachers and principle everyone one is just super amazing and so kind and understanding. Not only my kids teachers but I see other teachers interacting with their students and I all see and sense is care compassion respect and mindfulness. We are so lucky and fortunate to have our kids getting educated and disciplined at Viola Desmond.

The stars are literally only for my son's teachers who are kind and helpful...at least for the kindergarten kids. Can't speak regarding other grades .The office staff, on the other hand... they need to be kinder to not just speaking with parents, but also students.In particular the 'vice principal' who stands at the parking lot entrance who screamed at my 5 year old in a very disrespectful and loud way , so loud that i got scared too with the sudden outburst, when he was touching something on the deskI was standing right there and was shocked and asked him why he found the need to tell at him like that.He then proceeded to act like he did nothing and then I told him that he shouldn't be working with kids if he doesn't know how to speak to them or at the very least say it without screaming and ask him to stop.And if that's how he behaves with a 5 year old with his parent present, then he shouldn't be working with kids.He tried to brush me off, but that's really left a mark on me. I don't feel comfortable at all when having to interact with the office staff.Also, bullying isn't handled very well.Moreover, the way the staff communicates regarding policies when a parent inquires could also be done in a kinder professional manner instead of being so blunt and cold.It seems like a good school until you have to deal with the staff at the office.I don't understand why they're like this, but there needs to be some checks and balances.
