Floathouse Restaurant
The server and the hostess where the highlight of our night. Very charming. The food was sub-par. We recognize that this town is severely understaffed and challenged in the hospitality industry. Our drinks were refreshing and tasty but our Rockfish needed some help. It was over cooked. The Dickles" were good and the Sauteed Onion Brie was yummy."

We were looking for seafood since we were by ocean. When we drove by once I thought just pub , fish and chips only?We were tired of looking around so we went in. So glad we did . So nice patio by water( you can not tell from parking side .Seafood was greatHad seafood pasta and seafood chowder. Wow it was great. Don’t sit inside, sit on patio . Warm with heater and great view .

What a lovely spot!! The waitress was so nice and helpful and offered us blankets right away. We had the fish tacos and pan-fried shrimp which were both fantastic. Definitely recommend stopping in here if you’re visiting Ucluelet.

Cool spot, our server was amazing. He knew the menu very well and made great suggestions. Food was good, beer served in frosted glasses.

Floathouse Restaurant
We were in town for a few days and the Floathouse was recommended to us. We stopped in and had dinner. The staff was very friendly and service was good.The chowder was very good. The meals came out quickly and were hot from the kitchen. All of the meals were very flavourful.We sat out in the open area of the Floathouse, the weather was warmer so we were comfortable. However, if it is cooler and windy you will need to make sure you are dressed appropriately. If we come back will definitely stop here again.

Recently came to this restaurant for supper. Greeted by friendly staff members. Food was fresh, big portions and great!Facilities were clean amd welcoming.Highly recommended!

Floathouse Restaurant
We ate here twice while in Ucluelet. The food was amazing both meals. Major compliments to the kitchen. We ordered both seafood and non seafood items and they were all great. My husband said his bolognese was one of the best he's ever had. The Caesar cocktails were delicious. We visited during the time when hwy 4 was closed due to fires and we are so thankful that this restaurant is still going strong despite the challenges.

We sat at the patio during the late winter/early spring period, blankets and heaters all around! Not much of a sunset today but I guess in the summer the view must be gorgeous. Food was good, but a little cold, and unfortunately this was especially true of their clam chowder. We can taste that it’s good, but considering the weather was hoping it would be warmer.

Perfect place for a lunch or dinner. Good quality. We had Warm Goat Cheese Salad with Shrimps and it was just delicious and healthy. Would go again, definitely worth to stop by

Very busy joint on a Saturday, the patio had some nice heater to warm up under. The food was spot and delicious, the service was great and even accommodating for a large group of 6. The chowder is a must have if visiting, and the mussels were so fresh. Had a hiccup with the debit machine so had to wait 10 min to pay so the system could restart but all in all I would definitely be planning on returning one day.
