Eatonville Day Use Park

There are 2 wide easy trails (old forest roads) with lots of viewpoint decks highlighting spectacular coastal cliffs and sea stacks. When we returned to the parking lot after completing both trails, we had walked about 6 km.It is important to note that the day use park is in a backcountry location at the end of a 12 km dirt road. The road is passable with caution by most cars with one section toward the end covered with coarse gravel and small rocks. I was a bit concerned for my tires, but we had no issues. It would be a long walk to get help if you got a flat. Cell phone coverage is spotty.We saw no one else in the day-use park and I think we may have been the only people in the day-use park that day (June 29). The area is well maintained with grass on trails freshly cut, paper in the privy, repairs to boardwalks and new signage on the trails.
