I have always washed and carded my own wool but this fall I decided to use Ann McDow's services. I had 2 fleeces which I had dragged across the barn floor and were full of vegetable matter, Ann washed and carded them for me and they are outstanding. Most of the vegetable matter has been removed and the carding gives me a wonderful long roulag which spins perfectly. This service is worth the money and I don't think I shall ever process my own wool again.
