Lisa Roper Outdoors

This past weekend, we had the enjoyment of taking part in providing some accommodations for an awesome women's icefishing adventure, hosted by Lisa Roper Outdoors. What a crowd! It was a great pleasure to have had the opportunity to see the level of interest that this crew had to get out on the ice to try they luck and learn key icefishing and fish handling skills. Great job Lisa to you and your volunteers for introducing these ladies to the sport over the last couple of days!

Lisa writes adventure stories for our 4 magazines at Outdoor Specialty Media Group. She has a great ability to help readers see the world through her eyes, and her passion for the work she does is very palpable. She is a pleasurer to work with and a terrific person.

I had the pleasure of hunting WT deer with Lisa. What an amazing time. We had some wild weather which made hunting tough but Lisa was always positive. She has a ton of knowledge when it comes to hunting and fishing and I would highly recommend any outdoor experience with her!

Lisa is an absolutely amazing outdoors woman! She is wildly passionate, extremely knowledgeable in both hunting and fishing and her love for everything outdoors shows in everything that she does! I've had the pleasure of watching Lisa present on the main stage at both the Edmonton Boat and Sportsman Show and the Calgary Boat and Sportsman show - she is a phenomenal presenter and would love the opportunity to watch her present again!

I had the absolute pleasure to meet Lisa and be apart of an event she created called the Ladies Ice Fishing Adventure 2022. She created, organized, and fundraised for this amazing experience! Bringing together all kinds of companies, organizations, restaurants, volunteers, and females of our sport!! To say she is a hardworker is an incredible understatement! She uses her knowledge to create the best possible experience for everyone! She has been a mentor, and has taken the time to help anyone who asks of her. She is a steward for women in outdoor sports like hunting and fishing. Her hard work and determination is paving the way for many outdoorswomen and it shows us all that anything is possible. That we can be confident in ourselves and our crafts and achieve anything if we put our minds, our skills, and our hearts into it. I am proud to call her a mentor, a teammate, and and all around great person and friend to many!! Her knowledge of the outdoors in hunting and fishing is incomparable and I can confidently say that she can complete any task safely and within regulation, all while creating an unforgettable outdoor experience!! Thank you Lisa for all that you do for women in hunting and angling!!
