VMD Wedding Decor Surrey, Canada

This is a review based on a consultation with them - I chose to not use their services. When I first inquired about pricing, Vib asked me to call him. He sounded very enthusiastic and friendly over the phone. At the end of the call, he asked me to send some sample photos of wedding decor I had in mind. I sent the photos to Vib by text the following weekend. When he replied to my photos, I was miffed that he didn’t know who I was. It wasn’t like I sent the photos from a different phone number. He then asked me for my budget (although I told him that previously), then immediately told me he can’t offer anything. I told him there’s another vendor that could. Instead of trying to negotiate or offer an apology, he instead discredited the other vendor, saying that they can’t possibly be a good company then. To me, this was a red flag.Just for reference, my budget was around $1,500 and I was mainly looking for one floral arch and about 10-20 candles. In no way is this a difficult request.

Great open communication throughout. Flexible in relation to client needs. Collaboration when working towards the vision. I would recommend VMD to those who are looking to book a reliable company to decorate their venue.

Beautiful decor and very easy to work with. VMD did very beautiful and elegant decor for my engagement party and we are very happy with their service. Would highly recommend them!

I take this Oppurtunity to whole heartedly thanks the team of VMD Events and Vibhor in particular for making my daughter Victoria's 1st birthday a super memorable and lively event. The birthday theme decor created by Vibhor's team was superb and amazing. TheDisney props that he used of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck were awesome and the kids in the party just loved every minute of it. Simply outstanding. THANKS

The wedding decor for my sister’s wedding was absolutely stunning and majestic. Vib is a visionary and an expert in creating an enchanting ambience with his use of colours and decor arrangement. He’s trustworthy, easy to work with and ensured all our needs were met while taking our budget into account. He’s strict with deadlines so everything was carried out perfectly in a timely manner. No issues at all. Very reasonable pricing and high quality stuff. I will definitely contact him for future events. Highly recommended!

The overall result was nice.Pros: fresh flowers were provided instead of fake flowers. VMD has a wide selection of decorations. VMD responded well to last minute changes (different curtains).Cons: the expensive cost didn't reflect the quality of the decorations (crooked curtains, old rug, old blanket) or service (the set up crew was sitting while my guests were setting up).I don't recommend VMD as a first choice, but a strong third.

A huge thanks to Vib and his crew for the beautiful decoration on our engagement event. We all loved the decor!! You guys did an excellent job styling our engagement ceremony and we were extremely happy and amazed with the outcome. VMD Decor team went above and beyond what we imagined and we are very thankful. The service and staff were very accommodating to our needs. Unfortunately, we had a misunderstanding when discussing the event decorations specifics. We thought we had agreed on more decorations for the price charged, than what was stated in our contract. We were disappointed when we arrived at the venue, due to our prior expectations. However, the staff reached out when finding out about our disappointment. We voiced our concerns and they apologized for the misunderstanding. They offered to refund us a portion of our deposit to accommodate for the inconvenience. We really appreciated the company trying to better their service and keeping their customers happy. Overall a positive experience but be sure to review your contract thoroughly to ensure ur expectations are met.Update: refund has not been sent.

A massive thank you to Vibhor and team for the excellent deco on our wedding day. Me and my wife are so happy with your service and prompt replies to avoid any communication gaps. We knew that it won’t be easier for you to meet our expectations but I must say you exceeded everything. You made the venue look totally different and beautiful then what we saw initially. We are still receiving compliments from people who attended the wedding. Please please keep providing the same standards of service so that somebody’s special day can always be special for them.
