Cornerstone Animal Hospital

We have brought 2 of our animals to Doctor Honda now and her service is OUTSTANDINGI recently bought a home 3 hours north, and she continues to see my Cat. Her staff are amazing at working around schedules so I can make it down to the city(to my parents house) to be able to bring him in. My family still in the city recently got a puppy, and she too will be seeing Dr. Honda!

I've been going to Dr. Honda for 20+ years. She is very thorough and cares very much. She follows up with phone calls if needed. I am very picky too when it comes to my dogs and cats. If i could give more stars I would!

I had a terrible experience with Jenni Rose and with Cornerstone Animal Hospital. She was extremely rude and not compassionate with our situation (and dying dog). Furthermore, she instructed me to give the dog a medication which I disagreed with. I said, I don't think I'm supposed to give that in addition to the new mediation". Jenny got her back up and told me sternly "I know what I'm doing

I really like Doctor Honda, but some of her staff has a no can do" attitude. They are never willing to be flexible or help you out in a bind. I've also had issues whereas I've left countless messages for a supporting staff member and calls were not returned. It's too bad

Have been a client at Cornerstone for about 8 years. Transferred the care of my Frenchie over to Dr. Honda after I took him to her for a second opinion. My pup had a skin growth that the previous vet had said needed to be removed, and he wanted to charge $1,000. Suspicious, I asked neighbours if they knew a good vet for a second opinion and multiple people recommended Dr. Honda. She examined my dog and recommended waiting. She said some skin growths fall off on their own after 8 weeks. Lo and behold, that’s what happened. She saved my dog from having to undergo a traumatic and painful surgery.Over the years I’ve found that Dr. Honda gives careful consideration to what my dog needs, from the perspective of a veterinarian but also as a pet owner herself and an animal lover. She is patient with my dog (he’s a little crazy), conservative in her treatment recommendations (eg. will make recommendations & provide options, but doesn’t push invasive/expensive interventions), respectful of my thoughts and ideas, and takes time to listen to and answer any questions I have. She is very skilled at what she does - my dog has had to have surgery twice since being her patient: once to remove a tumour on his paw and another to explore what was causing an abscess in his cheek. You can’t tell he’s had surgery in either of those places, there is no scar & functionality is perfect.The staff at Cornerstone are warm and knowledgeable. They are very responsive. There is always someone who will answer the phone whenever I call (during office hours) and they always take time to answer any questions I have. They follow up after every major procedure or illness my dog has ever had, making sure he’s okay.It truly feels to me that Dr. Honda and the Cornerstone staff actually like my dog. They’re not just going through the motion of doing their jobs. I feel like they really care about him. We’re so lucky to have found Dr. Honda and the team at Cornerstone Animal Hospital.

Dr. Honda is an amazing vet who is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and skilled. She is very calm, likeable, and truly listens. Even when we moved to Mississauga we kept her as our vet despite the drive. For our lab (who had a lot of medical issues), Dr. Honda always gave solid advice and options. She also performed one surgery for our dog and based on subsequent treatment by a top oncologist, the quality/approach for the treatment was excellent. All the other staff also are extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Honda.

Excellent service and caring doctors!! This will be the third time I'll be bringing my new kittens to have them spade. Cornerstone is trustworthy and they don't overcharge you.

If I would give a lower rating I would.I am a pet sitter and when one of my client's dog injured his leg I obviously came to his vet for help. I believe it was Jenni Rose who met me at the door. She didn't let us in without appointment, did not take a look at the dog and did not even show sympathy, although the dog was in pain.I came first thing early morning, the whole clinic was empty. She was very rude and the best thing she could do was make an appointment for us next week.I wish I could leave 0 stars.
