I went here with some friends on a Saturday for dinner. Had to wait a bit for a table, but got a seat on the patio. There's a great view of the water right beside you. I ordered the fried chicken with poutine, and although very juicy, the breast was surprisingly small. It almost looked like a chicken strip. The rooster dipping sauce had an odd taste. The poutine was quite mushy and very salty. Service was pretty good though, the vibe is nice if you're sitting outside. I spent $24 for the food, which isn't too bad, but if I'm craving fried chicken, I would probably go somewhere else.

Beautiful day to be on the patio for brunch. It has a gorgeous view of the Toronto harbour. Great for people watching and to take a break from the Harbourfront crowds on a holiday. The food was decent as well, pretty good for a touristy location. Had the ricotta eggs which sounded strange but was actually pretty light. The acidity of the grape tomatoes really balanced out the creamy ricotta and other cheese. The signature Joe Bird sandwich was crispy and yummy. The Belgian waffles were heavy and loaded with berries and sugar walnuts. Food + atmosphere + view = A+.

I recently visited Joe Bird, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant boasts a beautiful view of the water, which makes the dining experience quite enjoyable. The dishes were tasty, and the service provided was satisfactory .

Joe Bird is an entire experience that you can't miss out on!You get incredible views of Lake Ontario and the entire interior is a complete vibe that everyone will enjoy.The food is absolutely incredible (definitely try the Taquitos, Joes Chicken Bowl, and the Joes Paloma (signature drink)).The staff is so friendly and wonderful. A thank you to John, the manager, and the whole team who made the visit so positive and wonderful.A 10/10 experience!

Amazing patio facing the lake. Very bright indoors too. We spent a couple hours at this restaurant waiting for our Dinner cruise. Ordered beers and some apps. Brussel sprouts are good. Service was excellent and not pushy. Will visit again.

Food is great, little on expensive side but its good considering the location and outside view. The issue is with the staff. I went there by myself. They made me feel like i am homeless person asking for free food. Its not a crime for 1 person to eat at a restaurant. Staff need better training

A great spot if you want some fried chicken, a pint, or a breezy place to catch some rays.The chicken is always crispy, and the beer is always cold. Speaking of beer, there's a rotating selection that is sure to have something for everyone.Always impressed with the food and the service. And I'm always tempted by the ice cream spot on the outside patio.

Given that they were so much better at treating me compared to the pie place next door, I think they deserve a five star just for that! I ordered dinner and a beer and both were good. The waiter, Benjamin made the experience very pleasant, and I think it is good value for money as well. I’m definitely returning.

Good beer selection (on tall cans, not so much on tap), food was okay, bowl was tasty, chicken wings not as much. Location is incredibly, harbourfront, facing lake ontario, makes it a great place to have a beer in a patio, facing the water.

Loved the food and the drinks. Had an amazing chicken sandwich which was perfect by the water. Also had amazing service which is hard to come by these days...Kate went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. She was attentive but not overwhelming, and made sure that everything was prepared to our liking. I highly recommend Kate and this lovely restaurant! Thanks Kate for an amazing weekend lunch!
