My wife and I were looking for e-bikes and came across Oakville E-Bikes. We knew very little about e-bikes and didn’t want to just take our chances ordering online. We were impressed by the large selection of top brands carried by Oakville E-Bikes that we had discovered surfing on-line. We scheduled an appointment with Ben after we learned they had demo bikes for most of the bikes they carry (unlike other e-bike retailers we called). This really allowed us to “test ride” the bikes which is critical for picking the best bike suited to you (they all ride and fit you differently).Ben was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We also met Ray who is a terrific technician and very thoughtful when getting your bikes prepped and ready to go. We narrowed down our selection and were so impressed, we even had our daughters visit and try some bikes out. Ben gave us very competitive pricing, especially considering the supply shortage, and similar and in some cases better than the online pricing we saw. He also suggested some good accessories and his installed pricing was also very fair on these items. So much easier than assembling and installing everything ourselves, and done right! We ended up buying 4 bicycles from Oakville E-Bikes.Ben and Ray have also been terrific to deal with after we purchased the bikes starting with a convenient and economical delivery to our home in London as well as going above and beyond on a couple of service issues we experienced. They truly care about their customers!! We love riding our bikes and look forward to an ongoing relationship with Ben and Ray - which you just don’t get when you order on-line.Overall, we got test rides, personalized service, ongoing service availability and paid no premium for all of this superior experience and peace of mind. I highly recommend Oakville E-Bikes and dealing with Ben and Ray if you are interested in joining the e-bike revolution and making sure you get a bike that that you will love.

My husband and I just bought e bikes today. We had been to see Ben a couple of times in the last week or so to test out some bikes. He was very friendly and helpful. We tried a couple, got some great information from him and in the end changed our minds on which one we thought we wanted and decided on Magnum Metro. I phoned on Tuesday to say we had decided and he told me he would have them ordered and built on Wednesday!!! We were not able to pick up till Friday due to our schedule. They were ready and waiting for us!, Ben made sure they were set up properly for us, we took them for a test ride. A few minor adjustments and we were ready to take them home!! Ben and Raymond helped up properly load them into our van and we were off! We are so happy with our purchase from Oakville E bikes. Just enjoyed my first ride with my new NCM pedal assist bike. The published range is up to 60 km. I found the pedalling so smooth that I only used the battery on hills and against a 20km headwind. After 65 km, the battery was only about 10% drained and I felt none of the normal fatigue that a ride of that distance would normally have created. For those who are used to cycling, keeping it in 0 is quite attainable for long stretches, thereby stretching your range much longer than suggested. This was a big question for me as I can cycle 60 km on my hybrid Fuji bike and wanted pedal assist to go longer and increase my flexibility with terrain and wind conditions.Ben was very patient as I test drove almost every bike in the shop. My final purchase was half of the budget I was prepared to spend. So top marks for customer service!The bike itself has a clear readout, comfortable seat and handlebars that adjust a myriad of ways. On my old bike, my wrists, palms, shoulders and seat were pretty cranky by 50 km. We're still fine tuning the adjustments (there are lots) but I can already feel the increased comfort on this bike.Thanks Ben. I'm a happy girl.

I purchased an ebike from Ben at Oakville ebikes and couldn’t be happier. I had been looking for a specific bike and they were the only shop outside of Quebec that had one left And they only had one. It was after hours when I emailed and asked about the bike and asked that they hold it for me until I came in to see it. I lived an hour away. I promised I would buy a bike if he would hold that one for me to see if it was the right size. Ben responded that he would hold the bike and wouldn’t sell until I had a chance to see it, and he also said he would not sell to me either unless I was completely comfortable with it. Which I thought was so amazing. Putting customers first.We went for a test ride on the bike and Ben brought a second bike saying he wanted me to try this one as well. The second bike cost less then the bike I wanted but he wanted me to ride both to see which was better suited. And he explained both bikes to me and the differences. Again. Putting the customer first.And once we loaded the bike in my vehicle he insisted on wiping it down with Lysol wipes. I told him he didn’t have to but he insisted. In all the places I’ve shopped since covid no one else has done. Customer care and appreciationThen. A couple days later and after I had a chance to ride the bike again I decided I wanted the bike seat from the other bike if possible and I reached out to the manufacturer who contacted Ben to see if he had the seat, which he did (I didn’t think Ben would have a spare seat as it was a seat they sold for a different ebike) so Ben called me and made arrangements to come to my home and personally change out the seats. At no charge. How many places have you ever shopped and got this kind of service. I have no doubt what so ever if I have any issue or need anything Ben and Oakville ebikes will be there for me. Usually you can buy a bike anywhere. But. How many places give this kind of 5+++++ service. I haven’t gotten it anywhere else

Wow it's refreshing to find quality professional service from a down to earth type of business. Ben and Raymond really took care of me from start to finish. I had ordered a Mate bike on indigogo crowd funding platform as a gift. Unfortunately it took a year longer and the recipient passed away leaving this huge box in my garage. I do make attempt to add all the accessories but was a bit much for me especially removing the harness. After a bit of research I took it to Oakvilke EBikes.Amazing service, reasonable pricing and most of all clear concise conversations. Gained some knowledge and now enjoying the amazing bike myself. Had to go back for repair of damaged headlight connector and again service was swift and actually surprisingly inexpensive. They have a variety of EBikes on display and I would recommend checking them out.Thanks Ben and Ray

I did a lot of research before I purchased my Surface604 Shred from Ben, the owner of Oakville E-Bikes. They are one of a few that carry this bike. Ben was very patient in answering all of my questions. He returned my calls right away. My bike had a issue and it was quickly taken care of by them. At my age (67) an E-Bike opens up many more opportunities. I still get a work-out but this time the wind, the terrain and distance (within reason) is not an issue.

Took my slightly damaged Aventon in for servicing at Oakville E-Bikes - Ben (owner) was fantastic. They cleaned it up (it was covered in red mud from riding in Arizona, Utah and Texas), the brake pads needed replacing and the hanger was bent so the shifting was off. Oakville E-Bikes does not carry the particular model of Aventon (the Aventure) so we had to source the replacement pads separately (he determined the part# and I searched to locate them - Finally at Sporting Life in Toronto if you can believe it). In the meantime, Ben and his mechanic cleaned up the bike, serviced the rear brake (which didn't need replacing, just adjusting), replace the hanger and sorted/adjusted the derailleur and shifter. I arrived to pickup the bike with the replacement pads for the front brake in-hand (Ben mentioned that it wouldn't take long and that he could show me the process so that I could do it myself the next time). Ben walked me through the process and once the new pads were in, it was clear the rotor had a wave to it (something difficult to detect with the worn pads). He took the wheel off and put it on a device to measure the wave, straightened the rotor and had the wheel back on the bike in no time (better than new). He really went above and beyond to make sure it was done right. Oh - did I mention that they were actually closed that day and that his mechanic was not present - Ben has some serious skills when it comes to knowing his way around the bike. I seldom write reviews but thought I'd give kudos where kudos is due. Thanks Oakville E-Bikes!

I recently bought the magnum low rider from Ben at his store. His focus on detail, and enthusiasm for making sure i got the right bike for me was great. He went over the bike in great detail before letting it out of his store. He is a bike rider himself and is truly invested in the business of cycling. I highly recommend him and his store. I am thrilled with my bike and very happywith Ben's commitment to service and customer satisfaction.
