Behnaz is an exceptionally knowledgeable pediatric Occupational Therapist with a wide range of clinical experience. She has a wonderful ability to connect with her clients and their families to assist in reaching their goals.

Behnaz is a very compassionate and knowledgeable OT. She has dedicated her career to working with children and her passion for kids health is obvious when you meet her.

Behnaz is truly an amazing therapist! She worked with my three year old son who has autism for a year.We were impressed with her immediate connection with my son. She is very patient and compassionate, and took lots of time to understand my son and find what works to help him.Each session she would check in to see how my sons week was and answer any questions I had, giving me lots of support and encouragement.She encouraged me to hold a multidisciplinary meeting with my son's treatment team so she could understand their behaviour plans, speech language direction and share valuable OT information about my son.She is innovative and creative in her approach. She helped build my son communication, independence, play and imitation skills. We also worked on developing his school readiness skills.My son benefits daily from the increase in sensory input we provide for him because Behnez helped us identify how important this is in his life.I would highly recommend her services!She is a gem in the occupational therapy world!!

Behnaz has provided my wife and I easy-to-implement tools to help our sensitive child regulate her emotions, and to be honest, this helps us regulate our emotions. She would also bring resources to sessions that we could keep (rather that giving us the extra step of printing them off) - this was very helpful. She also one time brought some headbands for our child as part of the treatment, and we offered to pay for those. She has a home office on the lower east side and made two house calls to observe our routines. Highly recommend.
