This is a great little stop on your way across the North Shore. Poutine was superb. Excellent burgers too. Definitely worth a stop. Even better if you grab to go and head down to the beach of Lake Superior to eat it

We had some really great fish and chips and the Morganator, which was a tasty burger. The restaurants in this region are generally not as spectacular as the scenery, but the Golden Rail is certainly an bright spot with quality food at fair prices. FYI, this town and the Golden Rail was featured on the CBC show Still Standing"."

Fish & Poutine, a must have for $12.99. Talk about massive portions, and chip stand fries as good as the ones I grew up with in Ottawa. The Golden Rail is my new go-to when I'm in the area!

We stopped here during a road trip for some lunch and we're blown away!The small fries was a formidable portion, and the $7 poutine was MASSIVE!!I'm a huge poutine fan and the one here was excellent! A generous portion of delicious cheese curds, and really tasty fries! Initially I thought the gravy was a bit on the light side but it grew on me quickly and tied the whole meal together perfectly!Would recommend anybody driving by stop here!

Came here on the recommendation of Mr Woodward in Rossport. He recommended visiting Morgan at his chip wagon in Schreiber. The Morganator was a great burger and the servings were very large. Great value.Stop for gas and food in the same stop.

We tried the fish and chips and the Morganator and it was enough food to satisfy 2 adults and a hungry kid. The chips may have been the best we've ever had - perfectly salted, crunchy, huge quantity. Fish was delicious, large piece, crispy not-too-thick batter and was served with tasty coleslaw. The burger had 2 patties (Vs the Morganator junior which comes with 1) which were juicy, seemed hand-made, and big.We'd eat here again for sure if ever back in town.Only negative was that the order/payment seemed a bit confusing: place order at food truck, take your order receipt to pay next door in convenience store, and then come back over to pick up the food.

Amazing food, good portion size and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.Suggestion to install umbrellas to offer shade on the outdoor benches.

Order yesterday, picked it up and I was truly shocked as to how much food I was given. Large fries were homemade and one Order can feed a family of 4...LMAO... their fries are delicious and crisp.I ordered 3 double paddy cheese and bacon burgers which were also delicious.I highly recommend this takeout burger restaurant and I travel through every 2 weeks and I will be stopping in.GT
