Professional, Fair and Great Customer Service! What more can you ask for?Unfortunately our heat pumps required some major repair shortly outside of their warranty period. Paul and the team at Eastwing were able to walk us through our options and were able to get us very fair pricing on an entire new system. The installers came one or two weeks later and were efficient, on time, professional and great to deal with. We really appreciate the great install, service and love our new heat pumps!

Connected with them through insurance to fix a defrost sensor on my heat pump. Technician didn't diagnose problem on initial service call even though I told him it wasn't defrosting properly and showed him a picture, he said it was working fine (it was 5° that day). Sent another picture the very next night and he immediately diagnosed the problem over the phone based solely on the new picture which looked exactly like the one he had already seen while at the house.Running into the same issue again, and they can't even tell me if there is warranty on the part they installed, and want to charge $100 just to come look, and then $75/hour for labour after that to fix again.Installing faulty parts and charging on each subsequent visit seems like a great business model, but its a no from me.

Staff in the office were great. Technician who came to service my air exchange was knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with me. Price was reasonable for parts compared to eBay and Amazon. I would definately recommend them.Only thing I would have liked better would be if they had credit card as an option to pay. I'm sure I'm not the only one but can only speak for myself.

In October of 2018 I called to get a service on the heat pump at the house my friend had recently purchased on foreclosure. After verifying the address with Scott from Eastwing we were informed that they would not do any work on our heat pump unless we paid the previous owner's outstanding balance of over $1,200.00 from a service in 2016. The previous owner of the house is dead. When we informed Scott from Eastwing that the previous owner of the house is dead he reaffirmed that they would not service our unit unless we paid his outstanding balance. Disgusting.We got our unit serviced by a competitor and we are incredibly happy with them. If you are considering Eastwing for your HVAC needs I'd consider looking elsewhere.

TL;DR - Great company, extremely competitive pricing, exceptionally professional/helpful staff, HIGHLY recommended.Long version:We moved to Halifax in 2020 and the home we purchased is primarily heated by electric baseboard (right now our power bill comes in between $4-500 a month), with no cooling options. We investigated multiple heating/cooling changes with multiple companies, and Eastwing was one of the top recommended companies by many friends and our realtor. We eventually committed to getting a 18,000BTU ductless heat pump with two heads on the main floor and I've broken down the experience from start to finish for easier understanding.Quote: To be upfront, we appreciated the recommendations from our relator and friends, but ultimately it was Paul (sales/quotes) that sold us on Eastwing. Paul came out to give us two separate quotes (one in January, one in July). Both times he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the different systems, specs, pricing, and any question I threw at him. Every time I contacted him he responded within an hour of receiving the email and came out to look at the house within a few days of responding to the quote requests. He was never pushy, and quick to point out where we could optimize placement within the house. I'd have no issues recommending Paul to anyone considering heating/cooling/ventilation changes/upgrades within their current home as he certainly doesn't employ the greasy sales tactics that many other companies used when I asked for quotes (i.e. pushing different systems, upselling unit sizes, limited time deals

Eastwing products were nothing but professional throughout the entire process of having our heat pump installed. The install of our entire heating system by Eastwing was completed entirely to our satisfaction. The installers were very cordial and they kept us informed of the progress along the way. We have not hesitation is recommending Eastwing.

Had a vanity installed by Mister Hot Water Heater, a company of Eastwing. Had excellent service by Andrew and Matthew (a student). Two very efficient, polite and friendly plumbers. They had to move pipes to accommodate a larger vanity. Couldn't be happier with the workmanship. We highly recommend Mister Hot Water Heater for any plumbing work. Mark & Debby Shantz
