There isn't much hope when you can't get the basic burger right. The patty was very burnt on the outside and barely cooked on the inside. It tasted terrible. Fries were good, but too salty and without any other seasoning. So dark I had trouble reading the menu. Not worth the high prices.

Great food, people, and setting.Clean little pub and grill set in a gorgeous old barn. Really great food. Have had the cheesy Barnbread and the Spinach-artichoke bites (a quesadillas stuffed with spinach artichoke dip) for appies, both of which were fantastic. My husband really liked the burger he had, and I have tried a taco (yum! Taco Tuesday is the best day!) and the Philly cheesesteak, which was tasty. I love the options. The owner and the staff are really nice, delightful people. It is a little pricey but given its remoteness it makes sense. The bison is super popular and runs out :(If you are ever in the area, check them out!

After reading some good review we were looking forward to stopping for lunch. The food was a HUGE dissapintment - a bland salad pretty much just lettuce with no dressing, soggy fries and a well over cooked bison burger. To top it all off the service was terrible and extremely slow. We all left pretty disappointed and felt it was definitely not worth the time or the money... should have just kept driving by.

Had supper here last night and was so excited to try the barn for the first time. I would be putting it lightly if I said I was disappointed. All of our food was either over cooked or tasted off, the service was alright but nothing special. I can’t say I will go running back for anything. On a positive note the deep fried pickles were good.

Really good experience. Stopped here for lunch with our little 9 month old. Decently fast, good food, polite service. Washrooms were clean, nice proper change table in the woman’s. Highchair/booster seats were clean. Great place to stop and breakup a road trip. Pretty standard pub food, selection of burgers/sandwiches etc. Healthy portions. Will be back!

First time we stopped here and we will definately be back. Prepare for a food baby! Portions are huge and the food was amazing!! Service was awesome. All around 5 stars. Everything was so tasty. We had the bison burger, barn burger and veggie burgerWith yam fries and reg. Fries. Everything was absolutley awesome! Best french onion soup I've ever had!

Great stop, fun staff, generous portions. I had the pulled pork tacos which were supper yummy. The cook was very helpful with my gluten free requirements. They have a separate fryer for the fries from the fried flour items. Our teen and preteen shared a meal that was enough. It was nice to try a small town restaurant rather than a chain. We’d definitely go back on our way through again.

A truly unexpected gem. After a long day of driving, I have to admit my hopes for a decent meal at 9pm in a small town weren't high. The waitress and cook at The Barn Pub & Grill genuinely floored me. The bison burger was absolutely delicious, the baked potato was done perfectly and served with actual bacon bits, and the cornbread... wow. Perfect. It's rare you can eat cornbread completely on it's own, but after the first bite it didn't even occur to me to butter it. I just inhaled, and wished for another piece.Get thee to Oyen for this surprise on the prairie. Definitely worth it.
