He was very helpful and was willing to walk me through the entire report to ensure I understood everything. I'd recommend him to anyone!

John is hands-down THE BEST home inspector I've ever worked with! His experience in the hospitality and education sectors is apparent in how he approaches his home inspection business. I've never worked with a more personable home inspector, nor one who did a better job of helping me educate myself as a home buyer. On top of being kind, having a great sense of humor, and being diligent about homeowner education, John is INCREDIBLY thorough in his approach to home inspections. I felt like he treated our home inspection as though he was inspecting his OWN home - it was that thorough. Working with John felt less like a stressful comb-through of a potential purchase and more like a concierge detective service, helping us to uncover both the unexpectedly positive things AND the less-than-awesome surprises in the house we were planning to purchase.We've now been in our home for a month, so I can confirm that John's inspection was 100% accurate - no surprises have popped up that he didn't alert us about in advance. He was even able to point out things during the inspection that helped us negotiate for seller credits at closing - nearly unheard of in this market!
