Lake St. George Field Centre

Awesome spot, well-run, clean, fun and educational. Staff are fantastic. Recommend to any teacher looking to do outdoor ed.

I am a graduate of St. Barnabas Catholic Secondary School who came here in the winter of 2015. The people there are welcoming and nice, the facilities are pretty well presentable, everything is kept clean, and nature is all around. Great place for a school trip.(Optional to read)Another thing that happened to me that they could use for the scary story segment for all who stay in the Snively house is that when I stayed up for a long time at night trying to go to sleep (something i didn't get a lot of), I heard a group of children laughing from what could have been in the hallway. I wasn't sure if I was just hallucinating, but a friend of mine also heard the giggling from the other side. See it for yourself hehehe

My son came for March Break camp and I can't say enough positive things about the experience. The staff are so warm, welcoming and helpful. The entire place has such a positive energy, and the counselors enthusiasm and love for the kids and what they do really shows. We came for one day to try it out. When I picked my son up he was jumping up and down begging to come back the next day (which we did) and he wasn't alone. This seems to be a pretty normal reaction at camp. There were a few topics listed for the day, but when my son came home I was so surprised at how many things they had accomplished in one day. Such fun! So grateful to all of you! Will certainly share this gem with everyone I know and we will definitely return.
