Waterford River Valley Campground

Great location and super friendly and helpful staff. Awesome wifi and free laundry! The first site we had we could not get into, they quickly accommodated. As we stayed a number of days they came to our site to empty the water tanks!

This park is great! Don't let it's location fool you....once you go into it you won't think that you are in the city. The sites are big and flat, and the new washrooms and laundry facilities are very nice. Walking trails are just across the foot bridge. Ted and Calvin and other staff are wonderful and so helpful. Our dogs are certainly going to miss them.

Excellent campground in the middle of the city. When you're in a campsite you would think you were in are rural setting. Ted and his crew are really friendly and helpful. All bathrooms include a free shower. Laundromat is also free. If I could give them more stars I would.

Very pleased with the park. It is very quiet and you would never know that you were still in the heart of the city. The staff are exceptional and were willing to help out at anytime. The comfort station was clean and appeared brand new and we had strong internet connection for the duration of our stay. We will definitely be returning!

Spent 2 nights. Great location for visiting St. John’s. New showers and laundry room. Clean and level sites. Would recommend this place.

We've been here over 2 weeks. This place is almost new. The staff are very competent and friendly. The location is very central to the night life of St. John's as well as some of the beaches and other points of interest. The showers are large, clean and the water pressure and temperature are excellent. We'll be sad to leave as I doubt any other place will compare.

Nice park with in the metropolitan area. It seems to be still under development which will only make it better. Quick access to biking/ walking trails (The Grand Concourse). It has everything you need if you want an outdoors experience when visiting the metro area.

Good location, decent sites. Can rent a fireplace if desired. Only negatives, no gate security and lack of campground patrols.

my husband and I stayed in a pull through at this park. When we first arrived it looked very industrial until we went down the hill to a very quite , clean and friendly park. The washrooms and showers are exceptional clean. We used the FREE laundry facilities with new washers and dryers. The Wifi is great (most places we stayed in they said they had wifi and dont)The staff is exceptional friendly. Great location to St. John's To top off our 3 night stay our ferry was delayed 3.5 hours and they accommodated us at no charge. I would definately stay here again if we are in the area and would recommend this park. Keep up the good work Waterford River Valley campground
